Benefit Roller Lash Mascara Review & Swatches
Will Benefit's New Roller Lash Mascara curl your eyelashes? Yes. Will it lengthen your eyelashes? Yes. Will it add volume to your eyelashes? Yes. I am very impressed with this mascara, but there are a couple of things you need to know before trying it. ONE COAT is all you need! I applied two coats in the picture below, but since using it more I now know I should apply only one coat. If you double or triple dip (If you apply this mascara 2-3 or more times) , you're in for a clumpy mess my friends. Your lashes will start grouping and clumping together. Also, this mascara dries super fast! So swipe your inner lashes. Swipe your outer lashes. Brush right to left your bottom lashes. Finally, there's a slight stickiness to it when you initially apply it (guess it's the formula) but it dissipates once dried. Your eyelashes can bend and are not hard. Also, very little fall out. Those are my thoughts! I will be reviewing some of Benefit's older mascaras (They're Real and Bad Gal Lash) to see how they compare to this one. Just curious :) Have you tried any of Benefit's mascaras? Let me know your thoughts.

I've never tried Benefit mascaras, but now I'm keen to give this one a go. I love super fast drying mascaras!

Ah, I can see that you're really into more Benefit products now. This packaging is so cute! Really like those old fashion pink rollers. The after effect of the mascara looks beautiful on you! Was that 1 or 2 coats? I love the look of the brush. It reminds me of those japanese brand mascara that I love so much. Looking forward to see more Benefit products. Do you know that my good friend is working as a trainer at Benefit? Seems like her job is so bz but full of fun!

It sounds like a great mascara Kim! We actually have that brand here, I might have to look into it! I don't replace the mascara every 3 months like you are supposed to but I try get as close as possible :)

It looks like it gave you good length and volume. Good tip about it drying fast though - who wants clumpy lashes right? I'd definitely try it. I haven't tried benefit mascara yet but have Buxom and L'oreal manga sitting around here!

Hi Kim! Ah, so curious to try it too now, you know I cant live without mascara, the effect on your eye is amazing, I see it so bigger too! Im also curious to see the comparison with the others, Ive tried They're Real one but not too much impressed, still preferring the Maybelline ones over it! Hugs! xo

Hey Kim, thanks for the review on this mascara. Not so sure if I want to try it out. I have tried the they're real by benefit and was not too thrilled with it as it kind of irritated my eyes and not easy to take off with makeup remover wipes! I don't mind paying a little more for mascara but I want it to work great if I'm going to pay more. Maybe you will like it as each person likes different things. I really love the packaging on this mascara that you reviewed. Someone told me to try out the Milani mascara so that is one I want to find next. Thanks for all of your great makeup reviews. I love Benefit's They're Real and have been curious about this one. I would want to try it just based on how great your lashes look with one coat. That would be a definite timesaver haha :)

mascara has always been something i tend splurge on - i always bought christian dior ones from sephora. my ears are perked with this! i'd love to try it out one day :)

Looks amazing. I like that it curls the lashes. I hate using the curler. I just wonder if this is waterproof?
ReplyDeleteMascaras are one of my favorite makeup pieces and I'm always looking for new ones. I have found some of the drugstore ones have gotten better and in some cases even can give better results than the $30 a pop ones. Great review!

The packaging alone really is very sweet, I do love Benefit for that! I've never tried benefit mascara as I'm 100% loyal to Lancome Hypnose, but I love to see reviews on the mascara all the same! :)

It gives quite a good effect, I barely use mascara sometimes, I hate the clumpy-ness of most of them, haha. But, when I do wear it, I'm like - why don't I wear this more often, my lashes look great, haha!! Super review doll xx

What a great review! So it curls, lengthens and adds volume! That's everything I want in a mascara and I can't believe I have never tried a mascara from Benefit. I have used (and been happy with) Chanel Inimitable Intense for a long time but maybe it's time to try this one! I'm curious now!
