I recently purchased four Farmhouse Fresh lotions. The first one, that I'll be reviewing for you today, is called
Fluffy Bunny. This lavender-mint julep scented shea butter hand cream is paraben, sulfate, vegan and gluten free. It's also 90% natural. Despite all of these wonderful things, this hand cream really threw me for a loop. It was very fluid (liquidity), when it came out of the tube. Once applied, it felt greasy and heavy. The initial scent, smelled like white minty toothpaste. Not a great start huh? I was ready to give it a not sweet rating. About 15-20 minutes later, after the lotion "dried", my skin had the most heavenly marshmallow scent! You'll want to sniff your hand off! It smells that good. Also my hands felt very soft and lightly moisturized. I guess the problem I have with this hand cream is how it feels, both during and after application. You have to go through too much (which is exhausting). I'm using mine at night. Rich cream? Yes. Nourishes dry skin (as it claims) Only slightly. It's not as moisturizing as I thought it would be. Sorry cute little bunny :( Is he giving me the side eye? HaHaHa Stay tuned the rest of the week for the other reviews! I will say, it gets MUCH better :)

ReplyDeleteI bought this for the bunny and came to same conclusion as you about the cream itself Kim. I wanted to love it but it just wasn't moisturizing enough for me either.

That is such a nice name, Fluffy Bunny. Shea butter is my favourite. They are so soft and scent free.
ReplyDeleteWell, the lavender-mint julep scent sounds good. Thanks for another honest review. Always good to know! T. http://tickledpinkwoman.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteWhat a disappointment. Thanks for the honest review. I've never heard of the brand, but I'd have fallen for the bunny packaging, lol!
ReplyDeleteKim! I am loving the new layout! Everything is so sleek! That lotion sounds like it smells amazing, but I hate greasy lotion too.
ReplyDeleteThat's such a cute packaging! It's such a bummer that it's not good.
ReplyDeleteI always appreciate your honest reviews! Love that it smells yummy, but I don't think I could handle such a high maintenance hand cream!

I have dry skin. A moisturizing hand cream is what I need. Too bad it is not too sweet.
ReplyDeleteAh that's too bad! I think I mentioned this before but I used Burt's Bees hand cream over the winter and ugggh the greasy feeling drove me nuts even though it went away a couple of minutes after applying. Unfortunately I didn't go back to using it!
ReplyDeletehaha i saw this post on your instagram and was meaning to come read your review, cute packaging but disappointing it wasnt what you expected! xo
