Farmhouse Fresh Front Porch Punch Body Lotion Review & Swatches

Farmhouse Fresh describes their Front Porch Punch Shea Butter Cream body lotion as 'A Jarful of Summer'! It truly is! This lotion is definitely for Spring & Summer. It contains a delightful medley of fruity & punchy scents: such as strawberry, mango, peach, melon and grapefruit. I've never tried a lotion with a medley of fruit scents in it before. It reminds me of those beautiful trifle desserts, you see in the Summer months. This lotion is fruit, whip cream and cake. It feels really good going into the skin, but it's much heavier than I expected it to be. Usually Summer lotions are lighter. It does take a few minutes for the lotion to "dry" down. Other than those two things it's delicious (not edible! hahaha) and very unique. Hope you enjoyed my Farmhouse Fresh reviews! My favorite is still Sweet Cream. FHF needs to use the formula for Sweet Cream and add all the other fabulous scents they make to it, because that's the winning formula! Have a great weekend! We're suppose to get 7 days of rain here :(

  7. Ah Kim, the scent sounds heavenly, I will only be afraid to eat it instead of put it on my body lol!:P Even though is heavy, I still like it especially when in summer I go to the beach and then apply a cream, it would be ideal too. Sorry for the rain, we are having a strong and chilly wind!:/ Have a marvelous weekend! xo

  11. These lotions are all doing the opposite of what I'd expect - summer scents are heavy, cream scents are light but don't pour... Still, all of the scents sound so wonderful. I'm a big fan of fruit scented products in the spring and summer.

  13. You did a really good review on this brand, Kim and thank you, because before this, I'm not familiar with the brand at all. I hope you'll do more reviews such as this in the future, Kim. It's amazing to see how different products from a brand fare.

Have a lovely weekend, gorgeous! xx

  17. Oh, Kim, you just ruined the magic saying the lotion is heavy, haha. Then I wouldn't buy it. Heavy lotions are for winter (even then I avoid them). Otherwise the product sounds really nice! Wishing you a nice weekend. Hope the rain stops where you are!

  21. Although you've mentioned this takes a while to 'dry down', I've never actually minded that - although perhaps if I was in a hurry and rushing out the door I would haha. The packaging is lovely and thanks for the brand introduction! :)

  24. Hi Kim, I usually like a light body cream and this seems like it would be good for winter. It must smell amazing! I hope it doesn't rain all week for you. Have a nice weekend. Julie xo

  28. I'm actually almost out of lotion at the moment and was looking for a new brand to try from, so this post is perfect! Sounds like a great company and not only do I love fruity scents, but I much prefer thicker lotions since my legs and feet get unusually dry this time of year. I'll check it out :)

  31. I will certainly buy that alone for its packaging. I love lotion with fruity scents, so refreshing. I like heavier cream because skin is so dry. Great review, Kim. I know I am not excited about the rain either. I feel ya!

  32. I think I'll go for the caramel scented lotion because I'm not a huge fan of floral scents.

  33. I love shea butter. Shea butter in a pump sounds like a great idea to me. I never liked dipping my fingers into a tub to get the butter. :) T. http://tickledpinkwoman.blogspot.com

  35. For some odd reason this product does not even catch my attention. The packaging, the name.. it does not cut it for me.
However due to the scent… I would give it a shot.
