Ugh! I didn't go to the Sephora VIB Rouge event Sunday. The weather was really bad, so I opted to stay safe & stay home. I DID shop the sale online! A plus to shopping the sale online is you can use Ebates, which gives you cash back on your purchases :) HINT: Buy the most expensive items you want online, and cheaper items when you go to the event ;) Clinique's Cheek Pops have been on my beauty radar since last year. They released some new colors, so I ordered Pink Pop. They also have a new lipstick, which is both lip colour + primer. So I'm trying it in Punch Pop. Marc Jacobs has a new limited edition eyeshadow palette (The Lover). I haven't seen any swatches, but the soft pink & nude shades in both matte & shimmer looked really pretty to me. Tarte cosmetics just released their Poppy Picnic (limited edition) palette! There are mix reviews on this palette, but the main complaint is it's similarity to other Tarte products already released. This doesn't affect me, because I don't have any eyeshadows by Tarte. HaHaHa I hit pan (for non-beauty bloggers, that means "i used up, and see the bottom of the container") on my Urban Decay pressed powder (reviewed here). I love it! I don't know if I'll ever go back to loose powder! HaHaHa I'm nearly through adding to my Too Faced lippie collection! I purchased Melted in Fig & Strawberry and La Creme in Bon Bon & I Want Candy. I'm currently testing out PAI Skincare (and loving it), but I also wanted to try REN! So I took advantage of the sale. Finally I used a 1000pts, and got a curated set for me & you! It's a beautiful travel bag that has Marc Jacobs, Makeup Forever, & Tarte lipstick, plus First Aid Beauty cleanser I've never tried. I'll be doing a giveaway for that soon. If you would like to shop the sale, here are the dates: VIB Rouge (4/12-4/21 15% Off) / VIB (4/16-4/21 15% Off) / Beauty Insider (4/17-4/20 10% Off). I'll be doing reviews on everything when I get them. Did you or will you be shopping the Sephora sale? What's on your beauty wish list?
1. clinique cheek pop in pink pop 2. clinique pop lip colour in punch pop 3. marc jacobs the lover eyeshadow palette
4. too faced melted lipstick in fig & strawberry 5. urban decay pressed finishing powder 6. ren gentle cleansing milk
7. ren ultra moisture day cream 8. too faced la creme bon bon & i want candy 9. tarte poppy picnic limited edition palette
10. beauty insider 500 point gift kiss kiss cleanse
I want to give a huge shout out and thank you to Vistaprint!
I was in a dilemma and needed some blog business cards super-fast. They
did an EXCELLENT job printing them and shipped them to me quickly. I
highly recommend them, if you need cards (plus, they do LOTS of other things!). Their prices will amaze you! My cards are in color, double-sided, glossy pic, and the theme I chose reminds me of a
bakery or ice cream shoppe :) Had to share! Have a great week!
Dear Sweet Kim, it has been an age and I neglected you!! I love your blog cards and still read your musings. I love them because your personality is there!!! Best wishes, Flora xxx
ReplyDeleteOh I love Ren products - the ones I've tried so far work really well on me! I wish Sephora shipped here - we have a store here now actually, but they don't carry the full range of what's available in the states. Love the new blog look btw!!

Oh wow sounds like you got a great haul from the sale Kim! Looking forward to seeing all your reviews as they pop up on the blog! :)
ReplyDeleteYou've definitely got me hooked on those tarte cosmetics - as the blush set I won from your blog giveaway had so many colours I let my sister take one and she loves it too haha. And she has TONS of blushes she could use instead, but she likes the tarte one. I have to find a stockist here.

such a great haul!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day sweetie!
Kim, I'm so tempted to get that Clinique cheek pop in pink and REN have been on my mind as well. I'm more looking on masks.
ReplyDeleteVistaprint did such a great job for you. In Europ we have not such a great customer service. I have ordered a lot from them years back when they just started. Prices was good and the quality as well, but since then prices have gone up a lot and they lack quality a lot, sadly. And customer service isn't much interested to solve problems. So I choose Moo.
xoxo

ReplyDeleteLove your name cards, they are super cute and well done to Vista Print. I thought of getting some for myself but had no idea what I'm going to use it for. I live in a small town so not sure I'll give it to. Can you advise me on the benefits for a blogger to have name cards? I would appreciate it.
