Sweet-Bittersweet-NotSweet
supersweet(run & buy it) sweet(really good,buy it) bittersweet(ok, issues)not sweet(not good,don't buy this stuff)
A Lil' Bit Chippy - Bittersweet - is described as a smooth vanilla with bits of rich chocolate chips. Arctic Zero's vanilla is not like vanilla your palate is use to. It's almost tasteless. Think of Vitamin D Milk vs. Skim Milk. This is more like skim milk with mini chocolate chips. It's cool. It's refreshing. The chocolate chips are good and taste like such. But if you're expecting a true vanilla or sweet taste, this is not. This was just ok to me.
Cookie Dough Chip - Supersweet -is described as chunks of cookie dough & chocolate chips in vanilla. If you're looking for something sweeter in taste, buy Cookie Dough Chip! I think what makes this so good are the bits of cookie dough and chocolate chips in the product. SO GOOD! I really like it and know you will to.
Buttery Pecan - Sweet - is described as decadent maple with bits of candied pecan. This is another delicious flavor. This is NOT HEAVY, like your usual butter pecan ice cream. You CAN taste the maple. The candied pecans are fresh, chunky & crunchy. This flavor gives you a touch of sweetness to enjoy.
Cool Mint Chip - Sweet - is described as dark chocolate chips sprinkled in refreshing mint. I'm personally not a fan of chocolate & mint together. But this is delightful! It's not overly minty or chocolatey. It's a really light mint taste with miniature dark chocolate chips. Very light & refreshing.
Orange Dream - Bittersweet - is described as a classic take on orange and sweet cream. This is on the order of orange sherbert, but without the sweet taste (think Italian ice). Again, very light!
Key Lime Pie- Not Sweet - is described as tart key lime with graham cracker crumble. Well, they definitely have that right. Now, I super LOVE key lime pie! But I have a love/hate with this. I LOVE the bits of graham cracker crumble in this flavor. I HATE the key lime portion! It's wayyy too tart for my palate.
The bottom line is Arctic Zero's products are not sweet or sugary in taste. They're healthy! They're suppose to satisfy your sweet tooth, but many of the flavors fell short with me and I don't eat a lot of sweets to begin with. I was sent 6 pints, but they have an array of flavors to choose from. They also carry chocolate dipped bars. These can be purchased ($4-5) at natural and traditional grocers nationwide, including Kroger, Publix, Safeway, Sprouts Farmers Market, Walmart and Whole Foods Market, as well as online at Amazon.com and arcticzero.com. They can be found on the following social media: Facebook (ARCTIC ZERO), Twitter (MYARCTICZERO), Instagram (ARCTICZERO), and Pinterest (ARCTICZERO).
