Shaveworks Pearl Souffle Shave Cream and Cool Fix Gel Lotion Review and Swatches

My last review for this week, is Shavework's Pearl Souffle Luxurious Shave Cream and The Cool Fix Soothing Gel. I didn't think it was possible to be blown away by shaving cream! But I'm blown away! My mom literally laughed at me, because I said "Can you believe I received these results with a Wegular Wazor (Regular Razor)!" HaHaHa Yes, this stuff had me tongue twisted! Below are my thoughts.

Sweet-Bittersweet-NotSweet
supersweet(run & buy it) sweet(really good,buy it) bittersweet(ok, issues)not sweet(not good,don't buy this stuff)

Note: I purchased Shaveworks Sample Box (which included both items for $10) from Sephora. The regular prices are shown below. Their products are not cheap, but exceptionally good.

Shaveworks Pearl Souffle Shave Cream $22 - Supersweet

Ahhh! A souffle shaving cream! It sounds dreamy :) This shaving cream looks superb when it comes out of the tube, but then becomes milky when you apply it to wet legs. What happened to my souffle? HaHaHa But don't be deterred. Go ahead and shave! This is the closest I have EVER come to wax legs. I used a regular razor and I felt NO stubble, experienced NO nicks and NO redness. This stuff is amazing! My legs were so smooth. I have THE COARSEST hair on my legs, and this worked like a dream. I usually have to shave every other day, and after using this I'm able to get away with 2 more days. I used the Cool Fix Gel below and it made my skin even softer. I hate the price, but I love this stuff. Purchase the sample box ($10) to give it a try and see how it works for you. A little goes along way. I'll still keep my Skintimate and Pure Silk on hand, but when Sephora has their November sale, I'll definitely purchase the full tube of this. Note: I only tried this shaving cream on my legs and underarm area.

Shaveworks Cool Fix Gel Lotion $25 - Supersweet

This blue gel is specifically for targeting ingrown hairs, razor bumps, razor burn and redness. Again, I didn't try the shaving cream on my bikini area, but this felt dreamy on my legs. It's very soothing. It made my legs even softer. It's also moisturizing. It's definitely a compliment to the shaving cream. Both are VERY EXPENSIVE, but they live up to the hype. You have to try them to believe it!

  7. Yay for Rowena! :D And you know, I don't use shaving creams at all. Crazy, right? I'm so cheap I just use hair conditioner in the shower. These two do sound pretty awesome though. That gel lotion would be good for my ingrown hairs! (Is that TMI? hehe)

  10. I need something that helps with ingrown hairs and I think I will try this out. You try so many things I haven't even heard about before.

  11. I've always only used body wash as my shaving cream because I find shaving cream to run out way too fast, but gawh your glowing review of these products makes me really want to try them! And for $10 to test them out you really can't go wrong. I'm with you on having to shave every other day, not to mention I always get razor burn, so these two seem like the dream team in my case. I almost don't want to like them with how scary this price sounds though hahah!

  15. Well, I do believe I need this stuff! Never heard of it before, but if it works well under the underarms, I am sold!! And congrats to Rowena on the win, so cool :))) Happy weekend my dear Kim, I hope you have a blissful time. It's sunny here, so you know I will be outside, hahaha!! :D xx

  16. These sound great & I think a sample size is a great idea for trying it out. I always just used bog standard shaving cream and I don't experience a very close shave! I wonder if I can find a sample of these for the UK.

  17. The shaving cream sounds amazing! I find it so difficult to pick a good one (my skin is so sensitive when it comes to shaving... :( ), so it's very useful to know. Thank you for the review, Kim! And have a lovely weekend! x

  18. Shaving cream is one of those things that I've never invested in - I'm embarrassed to say that I often use Ian's, ha ha! (He does splash out for good brands, to be fair, but still.) These products sound like they're really worth giving a try, though. And if I'm going to keep buying shaving cream, I'll need to be impressed, so this would be the right place to start :)

  21. That Cool Fix Gel Lotion sounds like something I could use right about now. I feel like I shave so much in the summer that my legs start to get irritated.

  22. The name already sounds so enticing! I always thought shaving isn't very good coz the hair grows out quick. But when you mentioned that this helps to keep the hair at bay for 2 days, I think I've got to check out Sephora. I usually epilate my legs and when really lazy, I would shave them in the shower. So this keeping hair at the bay really seduces me!

  23. Kim, I always buy the same old drugstore brands. I have not use anything else. Gotta check these out!

  26. Mmmm, I have not purchased something specific to shave my legs with in ages… maybe that's why they're always so itchy afterwards.. great to hear this was to good it tied your tongue.

  33. Aww.. based on your words, I can say that this product is a must-have for ladies who routinely shave their legs! Though I'm not one of those, I'm pretty sure it's worth it when you purchased one.

Btw, I just followed you on Bloglovin and in Twitter :)

  34. These products really sound perfect for who doesn't wax. In the end waxing is expensive so one might want to invest in high end shaving products! I use Silkepil usually :-) Baci,
