Benefit's Sugarbomb, was one of the items I won in the Klout Benefit #Curlfriends Contest. I thought it would fit in nicely with my Go Nude Week (makeup of course) this week. You may remember my review of Dandelion! Well I like Sugarbomb better. The color is more pigmented and richer! It's described as a pinky nude (pinky brown) with shimmer. It felt really good to my lips! It was creamy & moisturizing without feeling STICKY! There's no taste to this lip gloss, but it does have a candy scent just like Dandelion. I think it's great if you want to enhance the natural color of your lips. I love the whole dripping melted chocolate packaging, it comes in. Is this something you have to have in your life? No. But if you do want it, this lip gloss (and all the other ones) are currently on sale for $8 (regularly $16). But only for ONE DAY (today 7/31 11:59 PM Pacific Code JULYSHIP)! Sugar Bomb looks GOOD on you, Kim! I have tried to love/like lip gloss but I just can't get used to it. I own lots of NYX butter lip gloss which I do like but also rarely use, just can't get used to it. :-/

The colour suits you and it has such a lovely glossy finish. The fact that it's not sticky really appeals to me as I hate when it's windy and your hair sticks! Enjoy the rest of the weekend, Kim!
ReplyDeleteLooks good on you. But I didn't like the colour coming out from the tube. For nude products, I would stick to Bobbi Brown or Laura Mercier.

When ever I try to use lipgloss I end up regretting, because Ireland is too windy and my long hair end up sticking to my lips. So lipstick is perfect. And I don't like when scents are sweet, sometimes they are too much.

I love lip gloss but it never seems to stay on for a long time. The look is very fun however and this one looks like something I would like.

I love that you're clued up on current beauty sales - I need to have you around in the UK to know what sales are on.. I always miss them haha! this lipgloss looks amazing on your lips and the colour is wonderful. So cool that is doesn't feel sticky. Most lipglosses feel sticky to me, so it is always a plus when one doesn't.

thank you for your sweet comments, so funny that you were just reading about mixing prints and then stumbled on my mixed prints combo. I always loved mixing prints and styles...in elementary school all the girls always made fun of me because of it, but nowadays people are more open minded and we can all have fun with mixing it up:)

ReplyDeleteLooks SO gorgeous on you Kim! I can't seem to wrap my lips..heehee...around the idea of a nude colored lippy or gloss. I don't know I guess I'm kind of obsessed with pastel pinks, hot pink, cherry pink and blood reds! I've tried nude colors but they kind of make me look...I don't know...just blah. This color looks sooo moisturizing and sooo beautiful on you. I wish I could wear nudes. I think the only non vibrant lip gloss I've ever worn was from a Korean brand and it was pale clear pink with glitter in it! I do love my glitter.
