Happiness Boutique
The Happiness Boutique recently reached out to me, and asked if I would like to collaborate with them. After reviewing their website, I really liked their philosophy: "We aspire to spread happiness and good vibes...We think of our [clothes & jewelry] as happy tokens, that you can touch and feel and that will remind you of beautiful things to appreciate." That statement really resonated with me, because we need all the happiness we can get in the world today! And anything to achieve it, is super awesome in my book. The Happiness Boutique carries a variety of beautiful statement necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets. They also sell clothing, such as dresses, skirts, tops, playsuits and accessories. Another thing I love about them, is that they ship worldwide (internationally). I'm so happy to see companies embracing worldwide commerce, because I feel it is so important that products are made available for everyone and that everyone has access. The Happiness Boutique, also offers FREE SHIPPING and has a fabulous CUSTOMER AWARD PROGRAM. I picked their Pearl Blossom Statement Necklace to showcase. I've always been a pearl girl. It's a beautiful necklace that contains fashion pearls & rhinestones. There's also a matching bracelet, that you can purchase separately. This necklace has a nice weight to it, but it's not overbearing. Statement necklaces are bold, so I decided to pair it with a color equally as bold. That would be the color RED! I put on a red top, my Marc Jacobs Neo-Noir (126) lipstick and if I had more time I would've used my Butter London 'Come To Bed Red' nail lacquer. HaHaHa I also tried this necklace with a striped, black & pure white top and various jackets (leather, blazers)! All looked great! On a personal note, this necklace made me think of my late grandmother (on my mom's side). She loved fashion jewelry and statement pieces. The Happiness Boutique included a quote with this necklace, that stated "The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything but they make the most of everything ~ Sam Cawthorn". And that pretty much sums up my late grandmother. She could take the simplest of things and turn them into something fabulous. It's something I always admired about her and will always cherish & keep in my heart. I wish you all a HAPPY weekend! >.<
I really like your pearl statement necklace, it was great choice ;) And btw, I love your red lipstick from Marc Jacobs, it has lovely shade :)

ReplyDeletePearls aren't my favorite jewelry, but this statement necklace looks very sophisticated and edgy at the same time.
But can I just take a moment and adore your red lips? The finish is exactly how I love it, and you have the perfect lip shape!

The necklace is fabulous and classic! I love this company's message. Happiness can be found in simple things. Costume pearls also remind me of my late grandmother as well as my late great aunt. Their costume jewelry was passed down to me and the pearl pieces are my favorites! They will never go out of style.

That is very classic looking necklace but with a modern feel. Funny you mention your grandmother but I recently found letters my grandmother wrote to my mom when she was in college and she described in detail the outfit she was going to wear to an event she was attending. It was from the Med Men era and was so cool to read.
