Too Faced Cosmetics Natural Matte Eyeshadow Palette Review And Swatches
I really liked Too Faced's NATURAL EYES Eyeshadow Palette! They were neutrals, but they had some zing, zest and vibrancy to them! Too Faced's NATURAL MATTE Eyeshadow Palette is DOA (Dead On Arrival). Somebody break out the beauty defibrillator, because except for the last row of shades, the rest need need some help. I know mattes can be flat, but I had to swipe so many times, just to get the swatches you see on my hands below (no primer). There's nothing exciting about this palette, which is suppose to be the companion compliment for the Natural Eyes Palette. I can use these shades, but you can find the same colors in other eyeshadow palettes. They're just ok to me. The silver lining, is if you make a mistake during application it will hardly be noticed. I love it's small packaging and mirror. It makes it great for travel, but the quality of the shadows are BLAH. Some drugstore brands are better than this! Ok, I'll stop! LOL

Beautiful colors and pigment great presentation neutral is one of those palette you could use all year round.
ReplyDeleteAww no, what a shame that the shadows aren't so easy to use and apply - as they look like nice shades in the kit and that's a cute little set! Strange how brands can get some things so right and others so wrong sometimes!

That's too bad about the quality, Kim. I love matte eyeshadows and the shades here did look promising, but if I have to swipe several times to get some pigment, then that's a no-no...oh well....:P

It sounds like this one is a miss for Too Faced. I love the neutral color palettes for myself on the eyes.

Matte shadows really aren't my thing, anyway - even the ones with good pigment always sort of bore me, I like a little dimension to my eyeshadow - but this one sounds just terrible! I'll stay away for sure.

I do love my neutrals and matte eyeshadows but I must say this looks a little boring and gah! the pigmentation is horrid! Thanks for the heads up, Kim...you help me dodge a bullet or so to speak. xx

Too bad this palette was a dud! the natural eyes one looks so much prettier, even if these are the same tones. I get so sad when mattes aren't pigmented enough! Great review kim!
