Too Faced Melted Fig and Melted Strawberry Lipstick Review and Swatches

Too Faced's Melted Lipsticks are BOLD. The light ones. The dark ones. NONE are for the faint of heart. I purchased Melted Metallic Macaron earlier this year. I'm still loving Melted Nude & Peony from the 2014 Melted Kisses Holiday sampler pack. However, I did end up giving the other two colors away, because I never wore them. When I revisited the shades from Too Faced's Melted Lipstick Collection, the shade Fig intrigued me. The only purple I've ever worn on my lips, was a plum color! Plum is DEEP. Plum is RICH. Fig is different. When I first saw the purple box, I turned my nose up! I said to myself, 'I'm not putting purple on my lips'. LOL Well a beauty blogger's lip swatch made me think differently and I purchased it. I rather like it on my lips, and I'm glad I gave it a chance! I think it will look great for Fall. What do you think of this purple (Melted Fig) on me? Melted Strawberry is a PARTY RED! It gives NEW meaning to red lipstick! This is not for the office. It's not for grocery shopping or errands. This is PAINT THE TOWN...YOU'RE THE LIFE OF THE PARTY... YOU'RE THE S*IT AND YOU KNOW IT RED! I've never seen a red that's SO in your face! BAM! It's shiny, like red patent leather. Think Christian Louboutin Stiletto Heels! It's wet. It's bombshell, sexy RED! When I swatched these colors on my hand they looked so flat, but they are anything but. They have lots of SHINE!     The formulations of these really intrigue me. Both shades look so pretty on you. You can totally rock purple lips Kim! I like that it's not in your face but a more muted shade of purple.

    The shades of these lip colours really intrigue me but I've tried quite a few and I really dislike the formula, particularly the fuzzy applicator - one it has lip colour on it, it never comes off, so I feel like it's never really clean (silly, I know, but true.) Both of these shades are great on you, though, Kim. I can't believe how bright the red is!

    omg i love these both on you!
    i was imagining a much deeper purple when you mentioned the color, but it looks great on you ! and the red is pretty cute too! I would totally wear it out! I love your description for in the face red color! haha!

    I LOVE that fig color on you Kim!!! That is seriously gorgoues! And you're right, that is a party red lol!! I haven't tried any of these yet! I've never tried any liquid lipsricks befroe actually but I've been kind of intimated lol!

    I can't pull of bright shade; but you look so pretty in them! My favourite out of both shades you've reviewed is Fig! Haven't tried neither of them yet, Peony is my absolutely fav!
