Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendel X Nails Inc Nail Polish Collection (#AOXNAILSINC) is Sweet
Alice + Olivia // Next To Nothing
This is a fabulous nude! It's officially described as a 'creamy latte'. I love it, because it's everything I want in one color! It's ballet slipper pink, nude, beige, and brown all mixed together. I think this will be great for winter. This is the only shade you can purchase separately out of this set. All of these are Limited Edition (LE), so I want to get another bottle of this, before it disappears.
Alice + Olivia // Ruby Night Sky
I owned a similar shade (deep dark rich purple that's almost black) via OPI and wore it all winter long one year. So I was happy to see it in this collection. This is described as a 'deepest shiraz'. I had to look up shiraz. LOL Read about it here. Only one coat on my nails below, but I think I would do two the next time. I think it looks great with shorter nails. On really long ones it starts looking vampy :S.
Alice + Olivia // Paris Rouge
Alice + Olivia // Gold Goddess
This is Gold Goddess! This is described as, 'Shimmering 24K Gold'. All I will say, is this definitely brings on the BLING! There's also one that's called 'Black Diamond'. It's a gorgeous dark grey.
I was very impressed with the quality of these polishes. They were easy to apply (no bubbling or streaking). They dried quickly. Wearing time was 4-5 days. Can you find similar shades of these colors from other brands? YES! So, it's nothing you need in your collection. I purchased it, because 3 of these shades are my FAVORITE nail colors for Fall and I super love the Alice + Olivia Stace Face logo.
These are definitely fall colors.
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Kim!!

I've always been impressed with Nails Inc as they are easy to apply and they last. The Next to Nothing as you say is a lovely nude and the Paris Rouge is a perfect rich shade for autumn. Thanks for reviewing these new colours. Have a great week, Kim.

I love the gold! :)
ReplyDeleteThe Ruby Night Sky one reminds me of Lincoln Park After dark by OPI, I wonder if that's the shade you mentioned you wore a lot. It's on heavy rotation in winter here too, I mix it up with Russian navy now and then for some variety :)
Away From The Blue
I knew this brand thanks to a friend who live in England, she sent me a pink and fuchsia nail polishes, I was so stunned with them! I want yours now Kim, the set is super cool and perfect for fall, next to nothing is my fav, Im obsessed with nude shades for nails at the mo. Happy Monday! xo
ReplyDeleteI do not need Paris Rouge, but I totally want it. I love berry colors anytime of year, but I always feel like I'll look weird rocking berry nails and lips in the spring so I go haywire in the fall/winter.

What a cute set and the colors are just fall perfect. I have a glitter polish from Nails Inc. that I really like but I don't wear it that much cause glitter is a pain to remove but otherwise it's great.

Wow - it's so rare to find a collection of polishes where I love all of the shades but this collaboration really does not disappoint! I've only ever tried one shade from Nails Inc. but I think that's going to be changing very soon ;)
ReplyDeletexox,
Cee
This is such a beautiful color collection. I love that Paris Rouge color!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful colors! Sorry I haven't been by. I have been completely swamped! I love these shades for fall too and think the nude is definitely fab on you!

creamy latte is such a lovely shade...I love its name, because this nail polish does remind me of a latte. All these are really pretty shades, the other two that really caught my eyes are Paris Rouge (gorgeous!!!) and Golden goddess (we all need a bit of sparkle in our lives).
ReplyDeleteWonderful review...and thank you so much for your amazing comments...they mean a lot! You're so sweet.
I've not tried Nail Inc before and this set looks like a great first buy, Kim! You know what? I never thought of applying dark shades on my short nails, I will try it this week, hopefully it'll look good on my fingers.

Wow, I absolutely love Alice & Olivia, and had no idea about this collaboration. Thanks Kim. These look so great! I like Nails, Inc. and have a few colours of theirs. I may get it for the logo as well, lol. Thanks so much for your lovely comment, I'm trying to catch up with blogs now after a looong, but fun weekend. x/Madison

These colors are very pretty and very fall like. I have really fallen out of the habit of painting my nails. I am how to rekick myself into keeping my nails painted by squeezing in a manicure appointment this week.
ReplyDeleteLove the fall colors this year. You blog is stunning, thanks for the review. x

The Next to Nothing goes perfectly with your skin tone! I usually gravitate to dark color, so the Paris Rouge would be the one for me. The Ruby Night sky is a little too "goth" though lol.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours, very fall like :)
ReplyDeleteYou know, your post got me thinking and its been months since I last purchased a nail polish. Seems like I have too many of them and very little time to do my nails.
These colors are so pretty and perfect for fall! Nudes, darks, and glitters are my favorites for the season. This is a nice set!
ReplyDeleteOh I love Nails Inc, it really stays on. But yeah getting is kind of hard Sephora is very limited in what they carry from this brand. This set looks amazing.

ReplyDeleteThey all look great. I like the Next to Nothing colour.
ReplyDeleteThose are all such pretty colors Kim! I love the night sky and the gold one! The red is stunning as well, and you're right on the fact that the first one is the perfect nude color!
ReplyDeleteThey all look lovely, but I gotta hand it to Paris Rouge. That color is on fiyah!

Paris Rouge is such a lovely shade! I honestly wish I was more attentive to my nails, but this girl's last manicure was four months ago, ha!

I've never tried their products before either but you've sold me on the nude. I've been looking for a nice nude and haven't had much luck. Not sure about the "shiraz" I'd expect it to be more red in tint then brown!

ReplyDeleteLove the Paris Rouge and Gold, the box itself is adorable too!! x
ReplyDeleteI was just googling these polishes and your review came up, so I thought I'd stop by and report that I bought the Midnight Merlot earlier today. :) Totally spontaneous, actually. Got caught in a heavy rain, popped into the first shop, it turned out to be Nails Inc. So I had my nails done and picked this colour. So so so gorgeous! x
