NEW! AVEENO Skin Relief Gentle Scent Collection Review & $25 PayPal Giveaway

Hey Everybody! I received a package from AVEENO over the weekend! It contained their NEW AVEENO Skin Relief Gentle Scent Collection. It's their first line of SCENTED body washes (soap free, dye free, allergy tested, $6.49 - $7.49) and lotions (dye free, allergy tested, $8.99 - $9.99) specifically designed for SENSITIVE SKIN. "These gently scented and effective products are proven to soothe itchy, dry skin. These dermatologist-tested, allergy-tested formulas, infused with Gentle Scent, are clinically shown to be as gentle on sensitive skin as fragrance-free alternatives." There are two scents! Nourishing Coconut (sent to me to try) & Soothing Oat and Chamomile. Being a 2014-15 AVEENO Ambassador, I've tried nearly all of their body washes & lotions. The formula for the new one, seems to be the same great formula...only scented. The problem I have is, the scent comes across artificial (plastic). It wasn't the TRUE coconut scent I was hoping for, so personally I'll be sticking with their other formulas. Nonetheless, I would like to give you the opportunity to try them (available Walmart, CVS and Kroger October 2015 AND merchandisers nationwide January 2016) or any other of your AVEENO favorites.     They put together such a cute package. It's a bummer that the coconut scent smelled artificial. Coconut can be such a tricky scent to get right.

    Ah, Id be very curious to try this new line even though the fact u felt the scent artificial made me a little hesitant, Id be more interested on the cookies!:P Btw, this brand is really great and u Kim have been an amazing ambassador during these 2 years! xo

    I had so much high hopes when I saw the word 'coconut' on it, I mean I adore anything coconut but shame that the scent is artificial. :-( Aveeno is usually spot on with their products but I will be giving this a miss.

    I love Aveeno, but let's face it, nobody wants to walk around smelling like plastic. I was trying to picture in my head what artificial plastic smells like. I would have think harder. Great giveaway, Kim! Merry Christmas!!

    It's a pity the scent slightly resembled plastic, I find that's often the case with coconut or 'tropical' scents that aren't leaning towards the sweeter side! Great giveaway by the way Kim, I've entered! :)

    I've used Aveeno in the past and liked it, but have since switched between Eucerin, Shea Moisture and Andalou Naturals. One of the reasons I had stopped using Aveeno was that for the price, I didn't feel as though there was enough product in their lotions. I appreciate that even though you are a brand ambassador for Aveeno, you mentioned a flaw within the recent formula, which shows that you're unbiased and provide honest reviews, plus you're assisting them in areas that they can improve.
