I purchased some new nail lacquers from
Zoya's Fall 2015 Focus & Flair Collection over the holidays. You may remember, I was interested in
Zoya's Cinnamon last September. Well I'm happy to say all the shades I ordered are very pretty. Each took two coats to achieve the color you see below. Each lasted about 4-5 days with a top coat. Zoya describes Desiree as a classic sable brown cream with gray; Cinnamon as a classic bronze liquid metal; and Ember as a deep fiery red liquid metal. As these nail lacquers dry, they do get noticeably darker than when first applied. Drying time is short and removal is easy. Ok, Ember (red) may take a little longer to remove, but most reds are that way. Each are $9, but Zoya always has really good sales. Try and catch one! What's YOUR favorite NAIL LACQUER COLOR to wear this Winter? I seem to gravitate towards reds, browns & purples. Have a great Monday :)

All those colors are gorgeous Kim! Cinnamon is stunning!
ReplyDeleteThe red one is beautiful for the holidays too! I'm a fan on Zoya polishes!
I find them a little longer lasting than some other brands!
I heard about Zoya.
ReplyDeleteSeems great.
Love the color brown/

Hi Kim ! I agree with you. It is hard to get red removed. I would love to try the cinnamon, but I have to check it out when it's on sale. LoL!Happy new week, love!!
ReplyDeleteLove the metallic sheen on these! The Desiree is my favourite, what a great winter colour!
ReplyDeleteI wish Zoya was easier to get here, they have great colours and wear-time!

Zoya is one of my fave np brands! They don't go on sale too much around here, but I do think they're worth every penny. Unfortunately, I haven't really been wearing a lot of polishes lately, but I find I do always go for super dark shades...like black!
ReplyDeleteThe red is so vibrant! Just beautiful. I wore some sparkling shades for the holidays, but now will be back to nudes and burgundy. :) Need some red in my life, though. x
ReplyDeleteRed is unfortunately tricky for me, most reds make my hands look old so I gravitate towards purple and brown. Love the shade Cinnamon, it's definitely pretty and I have yet to buy any Zoya nail polish until now. LOL! So much to buy and try, so little money.

I love the colour of Desiree - so unusual but really lovely! Lately I've actually been getting shellac manicures, I love how long they last without the need for reapplication, which has always been my pet peeve with doing my nails at home, especially since I work on a computer all day. I tend to gravitate towards lighter shades of polish since most of my wardrobe is so dark. White has always been my favourite!

ReplyDeleteOooh! Cinnamon looks so cool!
ReplyDeleteI love neutrals on nail color, but for some reason, I'm super apprehensive about using browns. I need to change that! LOL
Thank you for your reviews as always Kim!
The colors are all gorgeous! I love dark nail polish like these.
ReplyDeleteSuch great colors. Zoya is a great brand...their polish goes on so smooth! Thank you for sharing and I hope 2016 treats you well in every way!

I LOVE Zoya and had two of their nail lacquers. I say had because, unfortunately, just after I finished painting my nails in their gorgeous Carmen red color for Christmas, it fell and broke all over my bathroom WHITE floor! Yup, it was a nightmare cleaning it all up and I was so bummed because it was special to me because it was my first ever polish from them and was my go-to red. I highly suggest you try it out, you'll love it, as it's a true red color and I find that it lasts relatively long with a top coat. What I don't like about Zoya, is that they're exclusively sold at selected beauty salons and spas, which makes going to the store and looking at the entire collection a mission and a half! But, I guess, I'll have to settle on ordering online for now until they start selling them in stores near me. I feel they should at least sell in Whole Foods, since they are an all natural brand, but hey, what can you do?!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing your thoughts on these colors, glad you were able to finally get your hands on the Cinnamon, which looks beautiful on you, btw! I hope you're having a wonderful start to the New Year!

These are so pretty, Kim! I'm so into dark colours lately. Btw, do you have any tricks on removing them without staining? That's the only reason I don't wear dark too often. Happy New Year!

Those colours are precious, love the last two the most. Polishes that shimmer are my favourites :) x
ReplyDeleteI love Zoya! I got one in my Infleunster box awhile back...a shade I wouldn't normally ever wear...kind of like a pinky beige and OMG, I loved it. Went on so smooth and easy and came off easy too! These colors look great on you! I'd wear a bright red or anything with glitter in it. heehee..
