Too Faced Melted & Metallic Chocolate Lipsticks Review And Swatches

When Too Faced came out with their Melted and Melted Metal lipsticks, there were some I liked and many I didn't like (here, here, here & here). For me it wasn't so much the formula, but the colors. This year, they've released a MELTED CHOCOLATE collection! I absolutely LOVE these. The colors are wearable. They smell like chocolate & vanilla (think chocolate cupcake w/frosting & sprinkles). No joke! They feel really good to the lips! I purchased all six and my thoughts on each are below.

There are SIX (6) Melted Chocolate lipsticks. If you look at the caps on each tube, three (3) of the caps have a matte finish and three (3) have a gold-tone (shiny) finish. The one's with the gold tone, shiny finish are Melted METALLIC Chocolate ;) This is important to know when purchasing. I didn't realize this, until I took the picture above. LOL >.<  I just saw CHOCOLATE and bought all 6. LOL

Too Faced Melted Chocolate Honey

This is a gorgeous nude, that has enough warmth to compliment every skin tone. I love it! It applies beautifully and has me singing Mariah Carey's song Honey! HaHaHa "Honey, you can't describe ... how good it feels ..."  >.<

Too Faced Melted Chocolate Milkshake

Praise the Lord! Halleleujah! Chocolate Milkshake is a grown up pink! It's pink, brown & peach mixed in one! Gorgeous color! Very nice! "My milkshake brings all the boys ...." >.<  This one definitely will! When Too Faced releases their PEACH eyeshadow palette later this year, this will compliment many of the colors in the palette.

Too Faced Melted Chocolate Cherries

Ok, this one is not for everyone. It's bold! It's vamp! It's a really dark cherry wine color. I think this would look fabulous on darker skin tones. It has a gorgeous shine to it. I have pretty full lips, but I would definitely want to bronze up (face) to carry this off.

 

Too Faced Melted METALLIC Frozen Hot Chocolate

Frozen Hot Chocolate is a beautiful soft brown shade with shimmer. Think chocolate frost.

 

Too Faced Melted METALLIC Chocolate Diamonds

If you want your eyes to twinkle, purchase chocolate diamonds. It has LOTS of sparkle! The color is very unique. It's pure shimmer & frost! The only hangup I have about this one, is when you go to remove it SPARKLE will be everywhere! LOL This is a party lipstick! I wouldn't wear it to work. It also transfers sparkle.

Too Faced Melted METALLIC Candy Bar

Candy Bar is a little lighter than a milk chocolate brown. It's more like a dark toffee.
