Sponsored: I received several bottles of
Aqua Carpatica Natural Sparkling Mineral Water for review. I'm a novice when it comes to Mineral Water. I tried Perrier. It was ok. I never revisited mineral water again. LOL What sparked my interest again in mineral water, was that Aqua Carpatica Sparkling Mineral Water is NITRATE FREE (totally free from nitrate (fertilizer) pollution or any other chemical, microbiological or physical impurity), has CALCIUM & MAGNESIUM (perfect for people who engage in high levels of activity), helps DIGESTION, has ZERO CALORIES & NO carbohydrates, lipids, organic carbon or sodium. I included two info-graphics from Aqua Carpatica's website regarding NITRATES. One, gives a comparison to other brands. That bottle of Perrier I consumed had the highest level of Nitrates (go figure). It also talks about the health effects on unborn children & babies under 6 months. How does it taste? Like flat alka-seltzer water. HaHaHa You have the bubbles (because it's sparkling water), but there's nothing else there. I will say, I felt more energetic after drinking this in comparison to regular water. But overall I'm just going on the fact that it is good for you. Aqua Carpatica water comes from the Carpathian Mountains (the last wild forest of Europe with no agriculture or industrial activity in the surrounding areas) Let me know your thoughts on mineral water!

I drink Pellegrino quite often since I like the bubbles haha. I know it has safe levels of nitrates but I will need to look into Aqua Carpatica since it is nitrate free. Thanks for the review and intro Kim!
ReplyDeleteEhrmahgerd! I'm a huge fan of Perrier, and had no idea either about the nitrates...YIKES! Thanks for this info, Kim, and the Aqua Carpatica really sounds good:D
ReplyDeleteSparkling water has never been my thing - in Europe it's way more prominent and there are certain brands that my husband absolutely loves, but to me, it always tastes like flat aka seltzer! Ha ha, Kim, great minds think alike! The information about nitrates is really interesting, though. I think I'll be sticking with flat water!

This is interesting! I've never tried this brand or any brand mineral water. I really only like regular water and flavored water. I would give this a try though!
ReplyDeleteAlthough I'm a health nut, I never drink mineral water. I just make sure to take a daily multiple with the minerals my body needs.
ReplyDeleteI have never enjoyed sparkling water and it just taste weird for me. If I want bubbles then I go for beer or Pepsi but I'm weird like that. Haha!

At first I was hesitant about a review on mineral water, but you did an excellent job Kim. Very informative. I like sparkling water, because I don't drink soda/colas. I personally drink distilled water, and if carbonated, we drink Pelligrino or I had no idea about Perrier, so I will pass the info. along to my friends. Thanks!

Mmm, I've tried sparkling water here and there growing up because my dad loves it. Perrier is my go-to, but the bottling for this is way more appealing to me haha :D
ReplyDeleteLoved the review and the emphasis on health Kim!
