Like. Literally. So Cute. I couldn't help but laugh at the names of
Kylie Jenner's lip glosses when I first heard them. The names are very Valley Girl! Which were very popular in the 80's. Anytime you're super bored, watch the movie "Valley Girl" on Netflix with Nicholas Cage. You will hear all three popular phrases. The movie is really cute (love story), but the "valley talk" will drive you UP the wall. HaHaHa Anyway! I LOVE THESE LIP GLOSSES! And I'm not even a huge lip gloss fan. Are they sticky? No. Are they tacky? No. Are they greasy? No. These lip glosses are super thick, so I was afraid they were going to do both. But they didn't. I was impressed with how well they applied. Not streaky! Not watery! The colors are gorgeous (if you like nudes). Like (Warm Mocha; Warm Brown Beige) was my favorite! It really compliments my skin tone and is a beautiful brown. My second favorite is Literally (Warm Toned Peachy Nude)! It's a beautiful pinky peach & caramel hued lip gloss. I love it and see myself wearing it a lot. It's a great everyday color. So Cute (Warm Nude Beige) via my eyes is a baby pink. LOL It's a little too light for me (I will mix it with something else), but I see this working really well with lighter skin tones. The formula is incredible for all three! This lip gloss doesn't get gummy. Despite it's thickness, it doesn't feel heavy on the lips. I hate to say this, but she needs to come out with more colors of lip glosses...ahhh my pocket book! LOL But I would definitely buy more and highly suggest you do the same. Her lip kits are much easier to buy now, it's just a matter of finding out when they're up for sale. These remind me A LOT of the
Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Glosses (the two families are very close friends), but these shades are different from the ones in my collection.

I really like 'like' on you Kim, haha! They sound like awesome glosses and they look great. I had a bit of a giggle at the names :)

Loving the shade Like. Looks beautiful on you. xoxo
ReplyDeleteLike looks great on you! I'm not a fan of lip glosses because I have wild hair that constantly gets caught on them, but if I do wear them they have to be pigmented and they look just that!

I hate sticky lip glosses, but I love Nicholas Cage. I will check out the movie. I love all the colors on you girl!
ReplyDeleteI am not even a lip gloss person but these seem so creamy and girl you literally sold these to me! :D <3

The shades are stunning doll.
ReplyDeleteI really like Literally on you! Who knew these lip kit glosses would be so good! I don't know if I want to buy Kylie's brand but would try the Anastasia colors!

I can do an amazing valley girl imitation haha! I'm not into nude/browns but they look amazing on you!

Hahahaha....I have to watch this Nicholas Cage movie now!:D And thanks for the heads up on these glosses, Kim:) I wonder if the Anastasia and Kylie stuff are manufactured in the same place....hmmmmmm...anyhoo, these shades do look great, and yeah...those names....I die!
ReplyDeleteThis kit has a lovely range of nude shades and they look amazing on you Kim! It's nice to hear that the formulation and quality is there as well since I've heard some negative things about Kylie lip products.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely nude shades and they suit you just beautifully, Kim! I'm having trouble buying into the Kylie products but I think that has more to do with how I feel about the Kardashians than anything ;)

These are all so pretty, Kim! You know I'm a sucker for nude lips lol!' Literally is my favorite, and so cute would look pretty mixed or over top of a darker gloss since it's on the lighter side!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, I want at least one, gotta see where I can buy them online from Italy

I'm really going to have to try one of Kylie's lip glosses after all your great reviews! The Valley talk is a riot. My friends and I used to pass around Sweet Valley High books when we were kids. They were fun to read!
ReplyDeleteI agree I really like Like and Literally but So Cute is too light. I'm not a huge fan of glosses but I think I might like these too since they are thicker and not sticky. Great review Kim!
ReplyDeleteI love "like" on you Kim! I was a little weary about these glosses because everyone was going crazy about them so I was really curious to read your review! Glad they pass the test and they're not just hype!! I love brown nudes recently! Hope you are doing well!

Literally is my fave !
ReplyDeleteYep, totally agree with you, the names are so cool.
I like the like & literally on you Kim! Next time I'm in Sephora I will try one! They sound really nice and perfect for summer!
ReplyDeleteNo surprise at all that you love them, everyone seems to! I really think she hit a home run on these and in fact, I think she's really driven to producing great quality in general. I've seen some of her pieces with her collab for Top Shop with her sister, Kendall, and they're SO cute! I haven't read many reviews on the quality, but from the looks of it, it looks great. I love the way that 'Like' and 'Literally' look on you, especially the first, SO gorgeous! Thanks for sharing, beauty, and I hope you're having a great week so far!
ReplyDeletePS: I'm glad to know that they're much easier to access now!

Hi Kim! I'm glad you like their products. I don't buy a lot of makeup so I will pass on these. Thanks for the review!

I'm glad to hear that these are good, Kim! I personally don't love matte lip products and have contemplated buying Like and Literally but wasn't too sure. I hope she comes out with more colors too!

They all look gorgeous on you, Kim! I think I like literally and like the most, they are extra pigmented! Kylie is doing a great job!
ReplyDeleteEla BellaWorld
The formula of these sounds so good! Like is my favorite on you too, and I think Literally would look good on so many different skin tones. Excellent review!
ReplyDeleteOooh, Kim, thanks for this review. I actually just bought a few Anastasia Beverly Hills glosses, although I don't typically wear gloss much, I did want to switch things up & I love ABH. These colours and the formula sounds like something I'd be keen to try. I don't think I could handle the film
ReplyDeleteyou mentioned merely because of the "Valley Girl" rhetoric, haha! Thanks!

Bahaha, oh man, the valley girl accent drives me nuts after too long of it xD I can put up with it if it's being used ironically, but if someone seriously talks like that... 0_o NO!
ReplyDeleteHaha, anyway, these definitely look Supersweet in my book too :D

Literally is the best ♥ I also have Like, but didn't get So Cute as the color is too light I was afraid it may wash me out. I like how the colors looks on you Kim :) very pretty!
