I love...Love...LOVE Sara Happ Lip Scrubs! I've tried
Confetti Cake. Superb! I've tried
Sparkling Peach! It's peachy keen & jellybeans. So, the next flavor/scent on my list to try was Creme Brulee :) I purchased it from Nordstrom. It comes in a cute little brown box. It smells just like creme brulee! A very nice sweet scent. The scrub exfoliated and moisturized my lips, but something was amiss about this particular one compared to the other two I tried. My lips didn't STAY moisturized. Now, I know this is more of a Winter scent. So I'm not sure if it's been sitting on a shelf and is not as moisturizing. lt's good, but not $24 good like the other two! She has more flavors/scents, so that will not deter me from trying the others. But I was hoping for a little bit more from this one. I might try the blueberry one next :P I may order it directly from her website next time and skip the store. Sara Happ is a treat for the lips!

Sara Happ Creme Brulee The Lip Scrub is Bittersweet
I'm going to have to look into these. I could do with a lip scrub as the weather cools down considerably. Sparkling Peach sounds seriously delightful to me

weird inconsistency. i have heard so many good things about the peach scrub.
ReplyDeleteI love lip scrub I never try this brand now I want to try it. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThat's too bad about this one, but great to know that the line is great in general, Kim. I'll give this a go when I see it in a store:)
ReplyDeleteCreme brulee lip scrub must smell heavenly, shame that it wasn't moisturising. I make sure to use lip balm after exfoliating, otherwise my lips get dry quickly.

I don't think I exfoliate my lips enough. Thanks for sharing, Kim!
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame this one isn't as a good as the others, but I think sometimes the products that go in to giving something its signature scent can actually impact how well it works! At least that's my guess, because sometimes that's the only difference between two products from the same line and some just do work better than others. Confetti Cake is my favourite from Sara Happ, so good!

What a shame that it didn't keep your lips moisturized Kim! I have used this particular flavor of the SH lip scrub and had no such issues so I do wonder if maybe it is as you suspected and the one you got had been sitting on the shelf for longer. Either way that scent is really good.
ReplyDeleteI don't know this brand Kim, but always is good for me discicer new products, Thanks for the review!

That's too bad this one wasn't as good as the other ones, it sounds so nice from the name! Anything creme burlee sounds amazing, I would be disappointed! The blueberry sounds amazing too though, and perfect for summer Kim!
ReplyDeleteAwww! I have not had luck with lip scrubs I have tried so I have stuck with the old fashioned brushing followed with lip balm.
ReplyDeleteToo bad the Creme Brulee did not match its sister products in moisturizing...
ReplyDeleteNow that you mention it I have not used a lip scrub in ages.
I love Creme Brulee! Bummer this one wasn't as moisturizing and good as the other ones you tried.
ReplyDeleteSuch a shame that it didn't keep your lips moisturized. I love lip scrubs, btw. Happy Tuesday, Kim.

Oh gosh, Kim, I don't think I'll ever spend $24 for a lip scrub. I think I'll stick to gently exfoliating my lips with a wash cloth every morning. LOL!

OMG, this sounds SO delicious, I LOVE creme brulee! Too bad it didn't work at keeping your lips moisturized, but I'm guessing it's because of what you said, it might've been sitting a while. I'm curious to know your thoughts on the blueberry, if you get, it sounds so good and perfect for summer! I hope you're having a great start to your week so far and thanks so much for sharing, beauty!

Such a shame it's not as good as the others, especially since it smells so nice! At least you can still enjoy it for the way it smells, it sounds awesome! :)

Thanks for your review Kim. I usually just use a homemade honey and salt scrub because most scrubs have sugar and I have an allergen to it. The creme brulee seem like would smell amazing. Pity that it wasn't as moisturising, although their names sound delicious as well. :)

The flavor certainly sounds divine! It's too bad that it isn't as moisturizing!

I have a red velvet one from a few years ago...that I probably shouldn't be using so I need to get a new one from her! How long do you find yours stay fresh from her line?
ReplyDeleteHonestly, Sparkling Peach just sounds more appealing to me anyway. Haha, never tried or heard of this one, but at least now I'll know where to get a lip scrub when I need one! :)

I have never used a lip scrub before. I should really look into trying some. Pity this one did not work for you.
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to try one of these. Too bad it didn't work as well as the other ones!
