Shopping from home can be heavenly on wet winter days. You can browse the world wide web from your sofa and find the perfect outfit, phone, mattress, kitchen sink you get my drift. Shopping online is convenient and fun and when done right it can save you heaps of money. With Winter and Christmas just around the corner here are a few simple tips to help you save some money while online shopping.

Online Coupons  

Wherever possible use these. Before going onto retail websites search for websites like MyCoupons.com for relevant discount codes and coupons. You may or may not find one but it is worth looking. Subscribe yourself to these websites so you receive coupons regularly. You can create a separate folder in your inbox or alternatively create a separate email address, especially for these coupons. Some websites might even allow you to use multiple discounts and if they do make sure you follow the rules carefully. Also, you can search Google for coupon codes by typing in the websites name plus "coupon code". Again you may or may not find one but it is worth trying.

Read Reviews 

If you are purchasing from website’s like eBay or Amazon always read the reviews for the product or seller before you purchase anything. On eBay for example, you can read the feedback left for the seller to determine what kind of person they are and you can see if previous customers had any problems with the item you are buying. This is worth reading carefully before deciding whether or not to buy. If previous customers have had problems, it may not be worth buying.

Leave Products In Your Basket

First of all, this is a great way to save yourself from an impulse buy you cannot afford.  If you see that absolute stunning dress you must have, instead of buying it now put it in your cart and log out. If in a couple of days, it is still on your mind then go for it!

Sometimes when you leave an item in your basket for a couple of days’ retailers will start to panic. They now know you’re interested and will want to nudge you to checkout. So you never know your luck, they might just offer you a discount to get you there.

Free Shipping 

Look for websites that offer you free shipping or have discounted shipping. If the website doesn’t offer free shipping, then remember to include the price of shipping an item in your budget.

If you are buying heavy furniture or other bulky items, then you can use delivery comparison websites like Shiply to get free quotes. It is important to consider the cost of shipping before you buy an item. If it is more expensive to get it home, then it is to actually buy it then it is not worth buying.

Grocery Shopping

Have you heard of websites like BeFrugal. If you shop online, you should make use of this free website and others like it. Basically, you get cash back for online purchases. Browse categories, click on the coupons you want and then you shop as normal. When you go to checkout cash back is added to your account.

Take your time and have fun online shopping just don’t get too carried away with needless purchase. Try to remember these tips when you are browsing online and you just may save yourself some money.

Ittse Ready Set Glamour Squad Quad Review & Swatches

I LOVE big name beauty brands, but lately smaller indie beauty brands have been making my heart flutter. Have you guys heard of the makeup brand Ittse? I just learned about them this year, through YouTuber Michelle of Ready Set Glamour. She swatched some eye shadows on her channel and I couldn't get over how pretty & pigmented they were. Plus, the packaging was so precious. Well Michelle just recently collaborated with Ittse on a Ready Set Glamour Squad Quad (4 eye shadows). I thought this would be a great way to try Ittse eye shadows, so I purchased it. Below are my thoughts...

Michelle of Ready Set Glamour

I love Michelle's You Tube Channel (ReadySetGlamour) & Snapchat (ReadySetSquad). She's friendly, personable and you can easily relate to her. She reviews and swatches all types of beauty, skincare and makeup brands. She's invited to the hottest brand events. She goes to the events and snapchat's THE PRODUCTS. Some YouTuber's go and hardly cover the products. Well that's what many of us beauty enthusiast want to see! So I appreciate that about her. She included a beautiful message to her fans and even a #squadquad tattoo :)

Ittse's Packaging

Ittse's packaging is to die for! They leave no detail un-turned! The box itself was wrapped in the prettiest orange-colored tissue paper. It's secured by a sticker (the brand's name). Their inserts have the loveliest illustrations! Think chic & modern paper dolls! These illustrations were on the packing slip, discount card and they even included a sticker. I loved it! The box containing the eye shadows (fits in the palm of your hands) is just as CHARMING! It's composed of intricately designed town homes (condos) or brownstones. Inside the windows you get a peek of baby grand pianos, people at a formal party,  someone's personal library, a cat on a perch and a woman in front of her vanity. It reminds me of those fancy expensive collector doll houses. Then there's a box that slides out from that box! Within it, are the eye shadows! LOL They're wrapped in brown tissue paper and secured with a sticker (ittse logo). On the outer cover of that box are teapots, hot air balloons, squirrels and all kinds of fun things.

The Ready Set Glamour Squad Quad

Ittse's eye shadows are individually wrapped (as shown below)! So they will need to go into something. They're magnetized on the back. Ittse has cases, but I already had a small Betty Boop Z Palette, so I put mine in that. Four eye shadows (quad) came with this set! Hashbrown, Chill Zone, Fifteen and Squad. I'm including Michelle's video below that explains the names she gave her eye shadows. It's really cute. These colors are PERFECT for FALL/AUTUMN! I can't wait to wear them. The quality of the eye shadows are over the top superb! Some of the major brands, don't have this type of quality! It's sad to say! ONE SWIPE you guys! ONE SWIPE on my hands below!
