Bath & Body Works & Labor Day Weekend Purchases

Happy Labor Day Everybody! I hope you're having an awesome holiday. I get so excited when all the Fall releases come out this time of year :) It's my favorite time of year. I did some online shopping this weekend & caught some really good sales, but I first stopped by my local Bath & Body Works to sniff test their Fall scents. I didn't buy anything there, but waited for them to go on sale & placed my order online. I placed 3 orders this weekend, because there was a different sale each day. I got 40% off each product via email one day. Half-off 3-wick candles + 20% off by using ebates and the code "longweekend" another day (always check ebates to see if their deal is better than what the store is offering). Buy 3, Get 3 Free body products another day. I must say, I've become a savvy online shopper! HaHaHa My UPS man will not be thrilled. LOL Here are some pics from their Fall Collection.

How cute are these displays? Faux pies & cakes! Yes, please! I'm so tempted to go back and say, don't throw these away when the season is over...give them to me! Their marketing team gets an A+ LOL

They also had black cat, pumpkin, ghost and Halloween themed EVERYTHING!

I bought clothes you guys! LMAO Nothing fun. Just business attire. Talbots had a nice sale and I had accrued a couple of $25 gift certificates. So I purchased a toffee colored pantsuit & skirt. Also, in their catalog they showed a lot of navy & camel outfits with leopard flats. I never thought of that color combination. I already have leopard flats, so I purchased this navy pencil skirt and toffee turtleneck. It's camel! But this year, they're calling it toffee. LOL I also like cross-body bags. So I purchased the two below. I don't do a lot of personal fashion on my blog, but my true style is very minimal & classic. I've experimented with other things in the past, but this is me.

My contractors finally finished the last two rooms of my house. Yaaay! So it's now time to start ordering furniture. I have new tv's, so I needed a tv stand and table to match. I also needed an umbrella stand. Found all 3 on Joss & Main. I love that site and they have really good deals. My home is understated too ;) BTW, the only thing I need for my makeup room is a lighted mirror. I found one I like here, but it's $750. HaHaHa I've been waiting for a sale, but to no avail. LOL

I didn't buy any makeup this weekend! LOL I'm actually waiting on the MAC x Taraji Collection to drop Sept. 6 and Selena Collection the latter part of September. What did you do this weekend? >.<
