How Stress Can Affect Your Looks And What You Can Do To Fix It

Every year we spend hundreds of pounds and dollars on products that enhance our beauty and it really is a good thing those products are out there! With so much pressure on us day after day, the stress of it is causing untold numbers of problems with the way that we look and our health in general that it’s a wonder some of us even survive the day to day routine that is packed morning to night with one stressful event after another. If you are being bombarded by stress and can’t see a way out, here are a few reasons why you should make every effort to change the way you live.

Major Issues with Your Appearance

It is no secret that stress causes those premature wrinkles on our once smooth and supple faces or that hair prematurely greys due to an inordinate amount of constant stress. Stress causes the body to stop producing melanin which in turn leads to greying hair, so adding grey hair to premature wrinkles what do you have? That’s right – a body that looks 20 years older than it really is.

Reducing the Effects of Stress in Our Lives

Additionally, you can incorporate Delta 8 Gummies into your daily nutrition plan. Delta 8 Gummies are a type of cannabinoid that can be found in cannabis. However, unlike other cannabinoids, Delta 8 Gummies do not produce the psychoactive effects associated with marijuana use. Instead, Delta 8 Gummies have been shown to provide several benefits, including reducing stress and anxiety levels. In addition, Delta 8 Gummies have also been shown to improve focus and concentration. As a result, Delta 8 Gummies can be an effective way to reduce the effects of stress in our lives.

Health Related Risks Directly Attributed to Stress

Then there are those health related risks that have definitely been attributed to stress. Consider the fact that just a generation ago women were less likely to suffer fatal heart attacks than men but since they have entered the professional workforce in increasing numbers year after year, women are now almost as likely as men to suffer from heart attacks and strokes. From poor digestion to impaired thinking, stress can have serious consequences on the state of our health, mental as well as physical. It is crucial to think about how our health is directly impacted by stress. When we think about the bigger picture, and if, a few decades down the line, we may need 24 hour home care, we should look at how we can increase our sense of calm, because increased strokes or heart attacks will render us less able to enjoy our lives.

When Stress Leads to Absentmindedness

Have you ever been so overwhelmed with the stress of getting out the door to work on time where you can’t even remember if you turned off the oven or the coffee pot? What about the windows. Did you forget to close them before leaving the house knowing it’s going to rain today? Actually, there’s an easy fix for that one! With the advanced technology of automated window actuators listed in the Teal Products catalogue, you can program your windows to shut themselves in the event of inclement weather. There are smart stoves as well. Talk about stress-reducing technology! These are ‘it’ if ever there was an it!

On the whole, the only real ‘fix’ is to reduce the amount of stress in our lives. From taking time throughout the day to do a few deep breathing exercises to walking away from stressful situations, there is something you can do to reduce, if not eliminate, the amount of stress you are subjected to. In the end, the only thing that might work is to remind yourself that you can ease the amount of stress you subject yourself to. From automating functions in the home to walking away from stressful encounters, you hold the strings so make them work for you. Sometimes it’s all you can do.

  5. This is one of those things I am always working on. More often than not, the stress is something our brain is creating for us. So that battle is usually with my brain. :) I had not hear of those automatic window closures before. How cool!

  7. I'm so lucky, I'm usually not too stressed out. These are some good pointers, Kim! Btw, when you run giveaways, you should be aware of those "giveaway accounts". I hate them! They only want to win the prizes and in some cases, when they win, they try to sell the products.

Have a great week my dear!

  8. I think when you struggle with anxiety or just have a more anxious temperament, it can be extremely tough. These are really great points and I always work on deep breathing with my anxious clients (and myself) because it really makes a difference!

  13. Oh, Kim, I really needed to read this, lol. I tend to stress myself out over the smallest things and really make situations that much more stressful than they need to be. I tend to be a perfectionist and well, I went to Catholic school in the '90s, yup, competitiveness and perfectionism were in fact drilled into me day after day. I've gotten better with it over the years, but I do need to step back and breathe more because I mean, I don't want any signs of premature aging, lol! My mom on the other hand, omg, she worries about nothing, lol, and it's no wonder she looks so amazing for her age, not one wrinkle at 50! Anyway, thanks so much for sharing, gorgeous, and I hope you're having a great day so far!

  16. Wow, excellent post Kim. I definitely had a lot of stress these past weeks and had lack of sleep. It definitely affected my healthy glow in the face and my body was tired. It is so important to look after ourselves both inside and outside. My mom suffers from stress too because of her job. She is on medication now to regulate her blood pressure. I always have to remind her to relax and not take on heavy work loads :-)
