MAC Nutcracker Sweet Copper Face Compact (SOLD OUT, except on eBay) - Sweet
The Sweet Copper Face Compact was the MOST POPULAR item out of the entire collection and is now sold out. It's currently selling on eBay from $37-$150. It contains Whisper of Guilt & Pleasure Model. Whisper of Guilt came out several years ago (I believe 2012) and was really popular. I don't remember the Whisper of Guilt craze, but glad it made a reappearance so I could try it. Both of these are Skinfinishes! So you can use them all over your face. Both give your face a very pretty glow. Awesome for the holidays. I concentrated on the cheek & nose area of my face. I love the packaging for this product. MAC gives you a great mirror and it has a Nutrcracker soldier theme.

You guys know I love my NUDE colors. Of course, nudes with a little kick to them... pinky browns. Well, this little kit comes with a cute Nutcracker soldier makeup bag that zips and three lip products. You have Magic Spell (Creme Sheen Lipstick), In Control (Pro Longwear Lip Pencil) and Tuned In (Vamplify Liquid Lipstick). These darker nudes are great for Winter. I would almost put these in the mauve family. Both have a wonderful shine to them and feel really good to the lips. I have a feeling this nude will look different on everybody. If you look at it on Temptalia, it looks a lot different on me. Just thought you should know. But it's still great otherwise. Glad I purchased both. Here's the Copper Face Compact on her.
I'm drooling over how pretty these are! That is a stunning face compact and it looks beautiful on you Kim! And those lip colors are definitely my favorite shades to wear! I love the nutcrackers theme for the holiday time! The packaging to the face palette is so cute!
ReplyDeleteI managed to get my hands on sweet copper and I'm loving it! I love the soft texture of them and the colour pay of is really good. Crazy how people are selling it for $150... I wonder if anyone actually buys it :) Love the look of that nude, it looks good on you :)

ReplyDeleteIt's crazy how makeup can sell out so quickly and be resold for so much more - but I guess it's like anything, if there's a high demand people will pay more just to get a piece! :)

Oooooo....that lip kit looks freaking fab, Kim! You really know how to pull off these kinds of shades. You know, when the collection first came out, I saw it on MAC counters and didn't even realize that the Sweet Copper Face compact was popular! Argh! Should have gotten it when I had the chance.
ReplyDeleteThose skin finishes look so lovely on you, Kim! When I was younger, I used a lot of different skin finishes from MAC but overall I found their staying power on my skin has declined over the years, so I've moved on from them. I may be inspired to try them again, though!

Ahhh both sets are sooo gorgeous. Every time I go to the mall I see fewer and fewer of these left at the MAC store/ counters. That nude lip kit is seriously tempting me!! A lot of the "nude kits" feature colors that are too light for my liking but this one looks perfect! Thanks for the lip swatches :)

ReplyDeleteI used to be crazy about MAC products and their holiday sets back in the day. Their packaging is always SO CUTE for holiday sets. I actually looked for the bronzer/highlight duo and it was sold out! I love it the swatches are so pretty! The lip kit looks great too. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on these!
