Pixi by Petra #PixiGlow Skincare Product Review

Sponsored: Pixi by Petra sent me some of their skincare products to review. All are suppose to give your skin a GLOW! Glowing skin is so popular right now. How did they do? Let's take a look and see!

Sweet-Bittersweet-NotSweet
supersweet(run & buy it) sweet(really good,buy it) bittersweet(ok, issues)not sweet(not good,don't buy this stuff)

Pixi by Petra Glowtion Day Dew $22 - Sweet

For the past couple of years, the beauty industry has inundated us with highlighters & illuminators. When applied to the skin, these products give us a beautiful GLOW.  Well the newest trend is adding GLOW to skincare products, such as primers, moisturizers, facial mist sprays and lotions. Glowtion Day Dew is a "lightweight, radiance-boosting moisturizer that soothes while blurring imperfections & giving a lit-from-within glow." This is a white opalescent cream. You don't need much! ONE PUMP will do for your entire face! It goes on very white! My first impression, was OMG'd this is really white & thick! LOL Don't pay attention to that! Just rub it in and it disappears! You're left with beautiful glowing skin. It didn't conflict with my makeup application afterwards! It was also non-sticky! It's a great way to achieve glowing skin, without highlighters and such. This works with or without makeup.

Pixi by Petra Glow Mist $15 - Sweet

If you feel Glowtion (above) is too much for you. Then take your GLOW a step down with Glow Mist! The first thing I want to say, is this is VERY REFRESHING! I was concerned at first, because when you look at the bottle, it looks very oily. But it's NOT! Allow some distance from your face when you spray, because it has a HARD SPRAY! It's very wet, but dries fast. It will give your skin a very nice glow.

Pixi by Petra Beauty Sleep Cream $24 - Supersweet

Oh how I love this stuff! This cream is suppose to be for night, but I find myself using it during the day. Psst! It won't conflict with your makeup. It's creamy and feels so good when applied to the skin. It's not oily, greasy or heavy. My dry skin just sucks it up, but still feels moisturized. I detest night creams that are overly heavy! I can't sleep with all of that on my face. This is perfect for Summer nights. I also feel individuals that have oily skin will appreciate this product. Love it!

Pixi by Petra 24K Eye Elixir $22 - Bittersweet

Pixi by Petra describes their 24K Eye Elixir as "an anti-fatigue peptide serum that that massages away puffiness as it smooths and refreshes the eye area." I had a little problem with the metal ball. Sometimes it would move and sometimes it would tug at my under-eye area. I wonder if it would work better if it was a plastic ball? Hmmm. The formula is good, but is it $22 good? I think you can do better. I don't suffer from puffiness, but any I had was banished. I refrigerated it and it felt good cool. But again, nothing major.

  6. I am loving the sound of that Beauty Sleep Cream, Kim! I have dry skin too esp my cheeks so this would work for me:) And yes....that's why I don't like those roller balls sometimes. Even on roller ball perfumes, I find the ball doesn't move sometimes! Sigh....

  8. All of these products sound interesting, specifically the Glowtion and cream (I have oily skin). The thing I'm a bit nervous about in trying out the Glowtion is if it will break me out because generally speaking, products like this, if they're not all natural or organic, can break me out...BAD! I have such sensitive skin. I'll have to try and see if I can find it in store and see. Thanks so much for sharing, beautiful!

PS: Did you get my FB message?!

  9. The illuminators sound wonderful for getting that glow! Non-sticky is key.

  10. This sounds like a great skincare line overall! I'm always wary of anything that comes with a rolling dispenser, aside from deodorant, as I know they tend to stick and the last thing you want to sensitive skin is tugging. But I'd definitely love to try the other glow products.

  11. The Glow Mist and Sleep Cream are totally going on my beauty wish list Kim! I love a good face mist and one that imparts a glow sounds great to me. I hope they will make this in a travel size so it can be carried around. And that cream sounds wonderful. I also can't stand night creams that feel heavy but I need a good level of moisture and this sounds like it delivers on both.

  13. I'd not seen this, but is sure is a good option if you're not into high lighters.
I like seeing that subtle glow on the skin because it does not look overdone.

  14. I have all these products but haven't tried them yet. I honestly am afraid of trying new skincare out because my skin can be difficult and I like to stick to products I know work. But I will have to give some of this a shot now!

  17. This looks like a nice line Kim! The sleep cream and the glow mist sound amazing! That's took bad about the eye Elixir, I wouldn't want something pulling on my eyes, especially for $22!

  19. now these seem like a lovely way to give one's skin a nice glow. A lot of sweet marks and one super sweet one...that sure makes this brand looks promising. As far as I can see the only product that was bitter sweet was that eye roll on. So, all together this brand seems rather nice.

Hope you are having a great weekend :)
