OhConcept Collection Tie-Dye Skirt
Sponsored: I was sent a beautiful Side String Tie Dye Maxi Skirt by OhConcept Collection (all opinions are 100% my own). I love it for MANY reasons. It's maxi length, so it provides excellent coverage. One side is ruched & ties, which evokes just the right amount of sass & sexiness. The tie-dye design is minimal, sophisticated and wearable. The neutral tones fit my everyday aesthetic & wardrobe. I love black, white & grey! The weight of the skirt is just right; it moves beautifully and is soft to the touch. It's the perfect "I-can-wear-it-now" skirt for me (befitting of New Orleans weather) and I definitely see myself wearing it during the upcoming Spring & Summer months. I like that this skirt is no-fuss! I slipped it on, paired it with an effortless Three Dots 3/4 sleeve black tee, my J.Crew tassel ankle wrap sandals & a gorgeous bracelet my blog friend Rowena of Rolala Loves gave me a couple of years ago. Two fabulous women designers are behind OhConcept Collection. Their mission is to create affordable, comfy & trendy pieces that celebrate a woman's body. They definitely accomplished that with this skirt. It's everyday! It's festival! It's weekend! It's lets go out & have fun! On a separate note, my eye makeup & blush is Jouer's Ready To Wear Warm Palette, which is currently on sale (I'll review it for you tomorrow). The other sparkle on my eyes is Stila's Jewel Eye Shadow in Black Diamond (It was gifted to me by friend & fellow blogger Little Luxury List a couple of years ago). This was my first time trying this sparkly shadow & it is gorgeous. I need to review more Stila! I am impressed. Wanna laugh? Take a look at the last small photo! My Spanx are showing! LOL You guys know I'm a beauty blogger, but my blog buddy Jalisa of The Style Contour has encouraged me to do more fashion and incorporate it into my blog. She is so nice! Definitely follow her and check out her blog! I contemplated about posting the Spanx pic, but I said ... WHATEVER (nothing's showing) ... Keep it real :P

Ooh what a great look! I like that it can transition between seasons and different moods.
ReplyDeleteI love your eyes here! They're so nicely defined and I'm glad the Stila worked out! I have a red Stila lipstick I need to review!
As someone with zero fashion sense I am distracted by your makeup. The skirt sure is nice, but your eyes steal the show.

Yay for more outfit posts, Kim! You look great and love the skirt. The colour is just right and you can wear it with anything. Very versatile indeed. LOLZ on the SPANX...you go, girl! Keeping it real!:)
ReplyDeleteA fabulous look! I love the cut on this maxi. Being only 5'2 I always disregard the maxi because they are too long for me! This looks like something I could wear. The sandals are so classy. J.Crew is great at designing classic looks that never go out of style!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a lovely look!

I love this post for so many reasons, Kim. First of all, yay to you showing a fashion post and secondly, all the wonderful shootouts to my favourite bloggers! And you look amazing in that skirt, Kim and I vote for more fashion posts too.

What a lovely dress, Kim! It really suits you. Maxi dresses are a bit challenging for me since I'm only 5'2", which means most maxi lengths are about four inches too long for me - but I love seeing others wear them well and you are doing a great job here! This is an awesome review, too, I'm looking forward to checking out OhConcept Collection myself.

Oh Kim this skirt is super pretty and even better the silhouette and design make it super versatile as well. You will definitely be able to wear it a lot during the warmer months not to mention it would be perfect for taking on vacation as well. I love the way you styled it. So simple, classic and elegant. That bracelet looks beautiful on you. Your makeup is a total standout as usual but I'm glad we're getting a fashion post from you. Yes more please!!
ReplyDeleteLooking good :) I love the bracelet x

Yay for another fashion post, girl! I LOVE this skirt! The tie-dye is indeed wearable, mainly due to the color combination, which I love! It also makes it very versatile too and it look SO good on you, beautiful! I love the way you've styled it with the black top and sandals, allowing it to be the focal point of the look. I also adore your makeup as always! Thanks for sharing, gorgeous, and I hope you have the best week ahead!

Lol about the spanx Kim! I hadn't really noticed until you pointed it out. Not to worry spanx are my best friend, I wear them quite often. I adore this skirt, it looks fantastic on you, and a big YES to you doing more fashion posts.

I loveeee this Kim! That skirt is gorgeous and so are you! And your makeup looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteOh I don't know what I like more Kim! That skirt is beautiful on you but so is that eye makeup you are wearing! You just look stunning. I admired this skirt on instagram and it was great to see that gif of how it moves when you walk. It's a very nice skirt. I have a similar tie dye maxi dress, but it doesn't have that side tie, it's a print that goes with so much though.
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with wearing something that gives us a little more confidence when we need a boost but I don't think you need Spanx at all, you're gorgeous :)
Hope you are having a good start to the week!

ReplyDeleteI think that skirt is very pretty and you styled it nicely and its does have many possibilities :)
You look wonderful Kim!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jalisa, you should do more fashion posts and show your stylish and beautiful self! I love this skirt, I'm a huge fan of long skirts! That bracelet from Rowena is delightful. And I was wondering which makeup you are wearing but you just answered. I love the glowing complexion and the diamond eyeshadow from Little Luxury List. You are loved! This skirt is really lovely and classy. I like the neutral colour scheme, it is a good choice when it comes to this kind of tie dye design. It looks like the kind of skirt that you can wear with just about anything. I also really like your make up.
ReplyDeleteThe skirt is so pretty! You really can wear that anywhere and dress it up or down. That's a versatile piece and a great one to have!
