Radiant Toothpaste by Colgate Optic White Review

Sponsored: Hey Guys! I was sent a tube of Radiant Toothpaste by Colgate Optic White about a month ago (by Colgate-Palmolive for review purposes) (all opinions in this post are 100% my own). I started testing it right away, and I'm very impressed. It's definitely a step up from regular toothpaste. I found it to clean better. It's a slightly thicker toothpaste. My mouth felt fresher. It's strong, but gentle. I don't have real sensitive teeth, but I've tried some whitening products in the past that stung (not a great experience). I never experienced that with this toothpaste. As far as whitening, I started noticing (to the visible eye) whiter teeth around the 3rd week. These effects probably began sooner, but I didn't document (with pictures) those changes. My experience in the past with whitening toothpaste is, it takes time to get a whiter smile. To get really white teeth, your dentist would have to whiten your teeth professionally. I think this toothpaste would be good to maintain what your dentist does. I'm not a heavy coffee or tea drinker, so my teeth don't stain a lot. I still really love this toothpaste, because it does a whole lot more than my regular toothpaste. I definitely recommend it. Do you use whitening toothpaste, strips or mouthwash? Do they whiten? Top Winter Holiday Destinations

With summer all but a memory, people are returning to their daily activities. Some may begin to start considering their winter holiday. Actually now is the perfect time to begin planning as one can often secure the best deals. There are some possible winter holiday destinations for 2017.

Bali, Indonesia

For those who want a reminder of summer and warmer weather on their winter holiday, then perhaps Bali is an ideal place to visit. Visit the island’s most famous temple, Tanah Lot. Located on the top of a large rock, the temple is surrounded by the ocean. Another unique place to visit is the Ubud Monkey Forest, a place of both scientific research and spirituality. Here visitors can observe Bali’s grey long-tailed Macaque monkeys.

Kaikoura, New Zealand

Take a winter holiday to New Zealand and celebrate the holidays like they do in the Southern Hemisphere-with a barbecue. Bask in the summer sun as you enjoy the variety of activities this area can offer. Hike through the rainforest and observe native flora and fauna. The Kaikoura Bay also is a great place to go if you want to observe native marine animals.

Macau

Located in Asia, Macau has become the top grossing site of gambling in the world. The casinos here are grand in size and offer the guests various games that can also be found online. The Venetian Macau is known as the world’s largest casino and is worth a visit. During the day many people visit the ruins of St. Paul’s. However, the venue is also becoming known for night tours which place the old church in a different light. You can also visit the old town that existed here before the area quickly sprang up into a gambling hot spot.

Of course this is not an exclusive list of venues that can be visited during the winter holidays. Many more exist along with these top three locations. Find one that can warm up your winter!

Models Own A.M. Kit Daytime Eyes & Cheek Palette Review and Swatches

Sponsored: I was sent Models Own A.M. Kit Daytime Eyes & Cheek Palette ($17.99 at ULTA) for review. The colors in the palette are very pretty! This palette contains an array of peaches, mauves, beiges and browns (they are not named). Altogether you get 6 eye-shadows, 1 blush, an eye-shadow applicator, blush applicator and mirror. All of the shades are very soft, which makes creating a daytime look really easy. They blended really well. I used four out of the six shades on my eyes below (I used the beiges, browns and mauves for my look). The peach blush gave me a really nice fresh look. I topped off my look with Anastasia Beverly Hills lip gloss in Vintage and Urban Decay Perversion mascara. This was my first time trying Models Own makeup. They gave me their Celestial Collection, but I did a giveaway (I felt those colors would better suit someone else). I didn't have much luck with their tea tree concealer. So I'm glad this worked out for me. I really like the look it gave me. What do you think?

Chanel Rouge Noir Review and Swatches

I received a lot of compliments from you guys on my makeup at the IT Cosmetics Happy Hour Event. The makeup is Chanel Rouge Noir Christmas 2015 Collection! I went to link my review of the collection and discovered I never posted a review on A Very Sweet Blog. HaHaHa I was consumed at the time with home remodeling. Well I still have the pictures I took of the collection. Found them in my email and thought I would show you everything. When I Googled this collection, it seems to come out periodically (give anything time fashion or beauty and it comes around again). This collection came out in 2010, 2013, 2015. So it's just a matter of time before it comes out again. Purple is a HOT color for Fall. You're seeing a lot of lighter purples right now. As I mentioned in the IT Cosmetics post, this is nighttime makeup! It's real sexy & sultry. I've only worn this collection twice! Once, when I went to the Chaka Khan concert at Beau Rivage and to the IT Cosmetics event at The Burgundy Bar. It shows up great in dark places. You can still find this collection on the "black makeup market"...ahem eBay! LOL But it will come around again. I've only purchased nail lacquer from Chanel here, and this collection. In the future, I would love to buy more. Do you have any Chanel in your makeup collection?

Chanel Le Crayon Khol Intense Eye Pencil 17 Rouge Noir

Have you heard of Khol eyeliners and pencils? I was watching a Sephora tutorial (you should watch it...great tips) and the makeup artist mentioned it's great for the waterline because it stays in place and doesn't slip. Well, this eye pencil by Chanel already is a Khol pencil. It didn't irritate my eyes. The color pigmentation is super awesome. You can draw a thin, thick or even smudge a line. It worked great in my waterline. You can purchase Khol eye pencils and use them with your favorite eyeliners.

Chanel Illusion D'Ombre Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadow 857 Rouge Noir

I'm not use to pot creme eyeshadows, but after using this I could definitely get use to them! This eyeshadow is so multidimensional! It's purple, brown, a hint of red and a hint of sparkle. I used a small brush and applied it to my lid, underneath my lower lashes, and smudged it out above my brow bone. Seriously, this is mistake proof! LOL It gives your eyes a great smoky look without the fuss. It comes with a brush.

Chanel Le Volume De Chanel Mascara 27 Rouge Noir

When I first pulled the wand out of the tube, I said this mascara is dry as hell! What is it going to do? WELL, this made me see the difference between WET & DRY MASCARA! You may here beauty enthusiasts say, they had to let their mascara dry out (leave the bottle open) because its too wet. I've had problems with wetter formulas of mascaras (clumping, too much on my lashes). I prefer drier mascaras like this one. It lengthened my lashes and gave me really nice volume. Plus you could see the color payoff.

Chanel Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour 109 Rouge Noir

This is a great vampy color! Again, purple...brown...and red! It's not patchy, but gives a smeared effect. The thing with this lipstick, is you definitely want to use a lip liner to keep everything in place. To open, you push the bottom of the lipstick tube and then the tube comes out ;)

Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour in 18 Vamp and 669 Chataigne

Vamp was part of this collection. I can't remember if Chataigne was or not. I purchased both, because I was undecided which would work best. Both do! However Vamp is lighter and has a little more red in it. Chataigne has more brown in it. Both are lovely! These are fall colors but let me tell you, during the summer if you wear white, they are HOT!
