The Beauty Crop Review and Swatches

Sponsored: I was given the following makeup for review. All thoughts are 100% my own. This post contains affiliate links where I may receive a small commission if you decide to make a purchase.

Nutrition Enhanced Color Cosmetics (natural ingredients, natural oils, plant-based). 100% Cruelty Free. Vegan. Cute Packaging. When I was asked if I would like to try some makeup from The Beauty Crop, I said YES! I love their philosophy! Nutrition based cosmetics are becoming more popular and desired. This company has super cute packaging! But the bottom line, is how does the makeup perform and look? It's important that it works! Below are my thoughts on each.

Sweet-Bittersweet-NotSweet
supersweet(run & buy it) sweet(really good,buy it) bittersweet(ok, issues)not sweet(not good,don't buy this stuff)

The Beauty Crop - Deluxe Mini Girl Gang Set - Liquid Lipstick Set $24.50 - Sweet

This liquid lipstick set contains 4 deluxe mini matte liquid lipsticks in their best selling shades. These liquid lipsticks performed really well. When you first apply them, they go on creamy and then they dry down to a matte formula (as shown on my lips below). I'm usually not a big fan of matte formulas, but these didn't crack on me and they have major staying powder. They don't budge or smudge! Micellar water barely broke them down. I had to use my Clinique Take The Day Off Balm to remove them. LOL The biggest thing is COLOR! I'm not much of a pink girl, so the first two look ok on me. But I LOVE Date Night & Imma Bawse! They really bring me out. I will definitely purchase the full size of BOTH. These have a sweet vanilla / candy scent! It smells really nice.

Greige Expectations - a cool toned grey beige

Che Guava - a dusty pink

Date Night - a wearable brown raisin shade

Imma Bawse - a vampy deep wine shade

The Beauty Crop - Fabulous Flocking Lashes Mascara - $19.90 - Bittersweet

Aren't these flamingos the cutest? This mascara contains NO mineral oils, phthalates,  or parabens. It's nourished with argan oil and jojoba. It's hypoallergenic and suitable for contact wearers like myself. The wand and bristles to the mascara are great. It does a great job separating lashes. It lengthens lashes. Where it falls flat is that it doesn't coat the lashes completely. It doesn't provide a lot of volume. So you're only getting some lengthening. It's just ok in my book, especially for the price.

The Beauty Crop - Blush Duo in Mauve-ulous - $10 - Sweet

I love this blush duo! It's a split pan that gives you the same blush in both CREAM & POWDER FORMULA! I've never seen that before! I love the color! Mauve's really agree with me. This blush is fragrance and mineral oil free. It's nourished with kale, aronia berry, pomegranate and papaya (but there is no scent). It pairs great with the Date Night liquid lipstick I'm wearing below.

The Beauty Milk - Glow Milk Liquid Highlighter - $19.50 - Sweet

Glow Milk is a liquid highlighter that comes in the cutest milk carton. Absolutely adorable! I opened it from the bottom, to not ruin the carton. You shake it up! When you open it, there's a brush! It definitely gives off nail polish vibes. But it's a highlighter. The brush makes it so easy to apply to the face! Apply it to the bridge of your nose! Atop your cheeks! Cupids bow! Under the eyebrows! Your collarbone! Wherever you want to gleam & glow...APPLY! It's a beautiful champagne color. It really gives you that lit from within glow.

  4. The packaging from this brand is adorable. And I think the idea of combining cream and powder blush into one pan is ingenious, because I always use both in combination! I also love the sound of the liquid matte lipstick formula, a good one has proven so hard to find for me but I haven't given up yet and this just might be the one! I love the way it looks on you in all four colours.

  12. I've never heard of this brand before! I love the natural, cruelty free, vegan etc. though!! I think those pink lipsticks look nice on you Kim! Especially the cool toned one. The last two are definitely your shades though! The date night shade is beautiful! I've never seen a blush duo like that before either, with the cream and powder of the same color! That's pretty cool, and the shade of it is pretty! The highlighter is also a really pretty shade! That's too bad the mascara was just okay! The packaging to everything is definitely super cute!

I would probably buy the Glow Milk just based on the adorable packaging but it also happens to sound amazing and it looks so glowy and beautiful on you Kim!

  18. Hi Kim, what I liked most about this collection are the lipsticks, by the way they feel very good, the flushes also have very good pigmentation and the illuminator has been love at first sight, besides having a very fun packaging! Kisses.
