Lumene Klassikko Deep Purifying Gel Wash $9.98
My dry & sensitive skin usually detests gel cleansers! This gel cleanser did not bother me at all! It's not sticky, nor does it irritate my skin. It turns very creamy when applied to wet skin. It removed all traces of makeup & dirt. It washes away cleanly & thoroughly! My skin felt very clean and it didn't feel stripped. My skin looked great! I do think this cleanser is great for all skin types. I never experienced any irritation or redness. It's an excellent cleanser. I can't get over the price! There is a scent, but it's very clean and clinical (all their products). I don't see where it would be a problem for anyone.Lumene Klassikko Refreshing Toner $9.98
After you cleanse, they recommend toning! Some toners I've tried in the past have felt stripping to my skin. Not this one. When you apply it, your skin feels refreshed, lightly moisturized and just FRESH! It's not greasy. It's not sticky! It just sinks into the skin. I love it. Very refreshing!Lumene Klassikko Moisturizing Day Cream $11.48
This white, creamy moisturizer for daytime is so lightweight. It won't compete with your makeup. It gives just the right amount of moisture to your skin. Again, non-sticky...non-greasy! You can easily apply other treatments over this cream.Lumene Klassikko Restoring Night Cream $11.48
My result after using this night cream was super soft skin! I think this night cream is perfect for all skin types. It's just enough for me. Depending on how dry your skin is, you may need a little more. I noticed Lumene has an Intense Hydration Collection, so if this is not enough, you might be interested in trying some things from that line. But I would start with this one and see if it works for you or if you need more. My skin felt very soft after using this cream.Lumene Klassikko Nurturing Eye Cream $9.98
Very nice creamy white consistency to this eye cream. Under my eyes felt moisturized and rejuvenated. Under their intense hydration collection, there is a more hydrating eye gel for drier skin.Lumene Klassikko Collection
So overall, I was REALLY IMPRESSED with Lumene! I don't have anything bad to say! LOL I know!!!! You guys know, I'm hard on brands! I love the clean packaging. The products felt good to my skin and WORKED. My skin had a NATURAL GLOW to it after using their products for three weeks. This skincare range is from Finland. They've done an excellent job! Do not be afraid to try this brand! It's really good! I will be using this skincare during Summer months and REN & other favorites more during the winter. Thanks Lumene for letting me try your products & share my thoughts with my readers.
Thanks for the heads up about this brand, Kim! I do shop for skin care at drugstores sometimes, but have yet to see this. I like the packaging as well, and great to know that the whole line is great esp. at that price point!
ReplyDeleteAnyhoo, Happy Sunday, my dear:)
Seeing Lumene product make so happy, because it reminds me home :D I know its silly. I have yet to try this range. I do like one of their cleansers which has pink packaging and I think its for dry skin x

ooh I haven't heard of this brand before but I'll have to check them out. I use Cerave all the time and mix high and low end skincare in my routine- obviously with no fragrance and irritating ingredients (which I've found to be just as bad if not worse in high end skincare).

I had had drugstore brands I've loved and drugstore brands I've hated. Ten-Oh-Six was my favourite toner/make-up remover my entire life and I'm so sad it was discontinued. Cetaphil, which lots of people love, doesn't work at all for me. I think it just depends on what you try, and I am open to giving most things a go at least one. This line sounds like it has some real highlights and as winter comes, the city where I live gets extremely dry, so it might be good for me - I'll look for it at my local Wal-Mart the next time I stop in there for groceries.

I am intrigued! I learned back in college through a consumer behavior course that inexpensive products, clothing, etc. are sometimes just as good as the overpriced, designer equivalents. Some generic brands are actually the same product that a factory will put those labels on after they have fulfilled the designer options. With trial and error it is fun to find those gems! I recently switched to Cetaphil and love it. The bonus is they sell it at the grocery store I shop at. :)
ReplyDeleteLove discovering brands and that's what just happened! Thanks for introducing the products :)

We don't have Walmart or this brand here, but it's so good to hear they are great products, especially at such affordable prices!
ReplyDeleteI used to buy a lot of expensive skincare, and after my last reaction to a product I had to go back to it. Once that finished up though, I went looking for alternatives and I found a really cheap (ridiculously cheap, cheaper than this) Aussie brand that's sold in the supermarket. It works perfectly for my skin, definitely an indication that price has no impact. It's been years since I've needed the expensive skincare so I'm really pleased! :)
Hope you have had a good weekend! I'm currently enjoying the long weekend as it's a public holiday today! :)

Kim if you were impressed with these products, I know they must really work well. I tend to be the same way about cheaper drugstore skincare but they have definitely come a long way. Thanks for the intro to this brand.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of this brand before either! I'm glad you liked everything and to hear that it's good stuff! I'll definitely have to check it out sometime. I've been using a gel cleanser and have been really liking it so maybe I'll try this one next!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great brand and I haven't heard of this either. I also love how affordable they are, especially when you are on a budget and want to try some new products.

Wow, everything sounds really great. Thanks for the introduction to the brand!
ReplyDeleteOoo! This sounds really good, Kim and if these work on your sensitive skin then I know they are good. I wonder if they are available in Walmart Canada too?
