IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Makeup 3-in-1 Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm Review

Sponsored: Hey Everybody! PR of IT Cosmetics asked if I would like to try some more of their products (I reviewed a lot of IT products this past October). I must say there were a couple of curiosities on my wishlist! They were mainly new products and a few classics. So about a month ago, they sent me everything :) I'll be reviewing these products the next two weeks. Cleansing Balm! I LOVE, and I think everyone else LOVES Clinique's Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm ($29.50/3.8 oz). I gave it a Supersweet rating! I find myself hardly ever using micellar water or cleansing oil anymore. I love the no-fuss benefits of a solid makeup remover. Well, you're going to love IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Makeup 3-in-1 Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm ($38/2.82 oz). In comparison, it removes ALL makeup just as well as Clinique. It rinses cleanly. I will say, my skin felt more hydrated after using the IT Cosmetics brand. It's also scented like pina colada/pineapples. Usually I do not like scented skincare at all, but this was a pleasure. I kept it on my face longer. If you don't like scented skincare, then go with Clinique. The only downside with the IT Cleansing Balm is, it's $8.50 more and a little more than 1 oz less product than you get with Clinique. Otherwise it's an EXCELLENT cleansing balm. I'll just have to catch a sale.

  1. It sounds like a lovely cleansing balm Kim, I like your description of the scent! :) I should probably try something like this! On the days I wear makeup (to the office) I use a makeup remover wipe before my normal cleanser but something more hydrating sounds good!

Hope you had a great weekend :) Was cold and wet here, a bit unexpected after our warm week!

  2. Of course I do love the Clinique TTDO balm, but I do like to experiment every now and again and I put this one on my list.

  3. Good to know about this cleansing balm, Kim! TY for the review. Although I use mostly Asian skin care stuff, I've been really dying to try IT Cosmetics.
    Happy Monday!

  4. Coincidentally, after your review of the Clinique make-up remover, I received a sample and had a chance to try it. Unlike everyone else on earth, it really didn't wow me - I've found very few make-up removers that do, to be honest, so I'm still on the hunt for a good one. I'll add this one to my list to try, since it sounds like you loved it even more than Clinique!

  5. I feel like I'm the only one who hasn't tried Clinique's Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm and now I need to add this one to my list :) I first discovered balm cleanser when I got into Asian skincare years ago. It's cool to see how it's finally been fully adapted in the Western hemisphere.

  13. I'm hooked on Shiseido Benefiance cleansing foam but I can see why you'd love IT - it's also scented ;)

  14. I'm a big fan of the Clinique cleansing balm as well, but one thing I wished (and I'm pretty sure I'm in the minority here) was that it was scented, so this IT cosmetics one actually sounds perfect for me! Will need to add it to my wishlist!
