Pixi Beauty | Glow O2 Oxygen Mask ($24) - Bittersweet
Pixi states, "This oxygen treatment mask revives dull, tired skin, providing an
immediate anti-fatigue effect –perfect before a big event or makeup
application." It has an oxygen complex, vitamins, ginseng, caffeine and antioxidants to replenish. It also contains, probiotic lactococcus ferment lysate to strengthen the skin & lactic acid that detoxifies. The product is inside a pump. When you dispense, it comes out as a gel. The gel then begins to bubble & foam up when applied to the skin. It feels really good to the skin. It's very gentle and I experienced no warming, tingling or any other adverse sensation. I rinsed my face and for me that's where the bells & whistles stopped. My face felt clean. My skin did glow. But after the third time using this product, my skin felt dry, so I stopped. I have dry skin and this was just depleting my skin. This got great reviews on their website. Maybe it will work better for other skin types. But for anyone with dry skin, it can be drying.
Pixi Beauty | Jasmine Oil Blend ($24) - Bittersweet
I've tried Pixi's Rose Oil Blend and loved it. I love Pixi Beauty's Sleep Cream. But there's something amiss about this Jasmine Oil Blend. I'm not a fan of scented skincare, but still the Rose Oil Blend worked for me. I'm not a fan of lilac, jasmine or lavender scented products. There's only been one lavender hand cream I loved. I have a problem with the scent of this oil. It seems very artificial. Another problem is that it lays atop the skin. It took so long to sink in and by morning my skin didn't feel moisturized. Pixi states, "This exquisite oil blend is especially effective in helping skin recover
from loss of moisture and dullness. It helps repair damage as well as
calm and restore stressed and unbalanced skin" My skin never achieved those results. The Jasmine Oil Blend contains
Jasmine Flower Extract (Healing & calming effect), Evening Primrose (Rich in omega-6 oil) and Grape Seed Oil (Antioxidant & vitamin C rich). I much prefer the rose oil & overnight serum. Also the sleep cream. There's a Hydrating Milky Serum, but I haven't tried it yet.
Pixi Beauty | Overnight Glow Serum ($24) & Glow Mist ($15) - Sweet
I reviewed both of Pixi's Overnight Glow Serum & Glow Mist before. Both are really good. I didn't open these, because I'm going to do a giveaway next month that includes several products and I'll include these in that giveaway. What I like about both of these, is that they give skin a NATURAL lit from within glow. Plus Pixi mists (Glow & Vitamin) are so refreshing. Look for a giveaway next month.
