Burt's Bees Conditioning Lip Scrub & Overnight Intensive Lip Treatment Review and Swatches

I've been on a serious lip-care review kick this year! There are so many new lip-care products on the market to try. Burt's Bees came out with a conditioning lip scrub & overnight lip treatment. I love But's Bees because they are all natural. I purchased these from ULTA Beauty. I've had a chance to try them. Let me share my thoughts with you below.

Burt's Bees | Conditioning Lip Scrub - Sweet

Burt's Bees Conditioning Lip Scrub is 100% natural, no phthalates, parabens petrolatum or SLS. Yaaaay! Contains honey crystals that exfoliate your lips. It also contains beeswax to hydrate & moisturize your lips. This lip scrub smells like honey & cocoa butter to my nose. It's very nice. I noticed it's really smooth, which is a little odd for a lip scrub. This lip scrub provides gentle exfoliation and maximum hydration. You feel the little honey crystals, but I wish they provided a little more exfoliation. Just a little more punch! Nonetheless, if you scrub your lips regularly this will help maintain them. If you do not, this may not be enough. This lip scrub provides a lot of hydration, so a little goes a long way. Overall, it's really good. I still prefer my Sara Happ (reviews), Good Earth Beauty (review here) and Frank Body (review here) lip scrubs over this.

Burt's Bees | Overnight Intensive Lip Treatment - Supersweet

This lip treatment is awesome! The scent reminds me of the Girl Scouts Thin Mint Cookies. The treatment itself is a caramel color. Dry lips? Nooooo more! This is super hydrating! But this treatment is not sticky, tacky, oily or greasy. This stayed on my lips all night. This says overnight, but it's not overwhelming for day. I really liked it. Another lip treatment I like is Fresh Beauty Advanced Therapy Lip Balm (review here). The Burt's Bees Lip Treatment also contains Ceramide (oils found naturally in your skin and are necessary for maintaining your skin’s barrier that protects from dryness and environmental irritants). My lips afterwards felt soft, smooth & supple.
