Sugarbearhair Hair Vitamins Review
Not Sponsored. Biotin. The word biotin always comes up, when discussing hair growth. I had much success years & years ago with GNC's Women's Ultra Nourish-hair Vitamins $12.99-$22.99. They have 1200mcg of biotin & 22 mcg of folic acid. Other vitamins are also important for hair growth such as Vitamin A, C, E, B-6, B-12 and B-5. When I took GNC's Ultra Nourish-hair my hair stayed strong & soft. Before purchasing those again, I thought I would try something new. Sugarbearhair Hair Vitamins $29.99 have 5000mcg of biotin and 260mcg of folic acid. They also contain all the vitamins listed above. Well, I have about 10 left. My nails grew. Body hair grew. However, the hair on my head hardly did anything. Just a couple of sprouts! LOL My hair never felt any softer either. The GNC ones are caplets. The Sugarbearhair ones are chewables. So I don't know if that makes a difference. They're shaped like really cute blue teddy bears. They have a delicious berry taste. I know its just one bottle, but my results were really lackluster. Plus, I was always hungry. If I didn't eat something with these vitamins I would feel sick. I was also always thirsty. I had to drink plenty of water (way more than I usually do). I'm now trying HUM Hair Sweet Hair Vitamins $25. These have 5.000 mcg of biotin and 500 mcg of folic acid. I've been taking the HUM vitamins for only one week, but I'm not feeling ill if I don't eat with them and I'm not drinking large quantities of water. So I'll keep you posted & let you know my thoughts.

Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Wonder Drops Review
Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links. I get commission for purchases or clicks made through links in this post.
Not Sponsored. I LOVE Fresh Beauty's Sugar Advanced Therapy lip products. I swear by Fresh's Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Balm ($26)(Barneys, StrawberryNet, Harrods, Nordstrom). It's my absolute FAVORITE lip balm and the first I reach for both day and night! I also love Fresh's Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Serum ($36)(Barney's, StrawberryNet, Harrods, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Sephora). You can see both of my reviews here and here. So I was really excited to see that Fresh came out with Sugar Lip Wonder Drops ($26) (Harrods, Nordstrom, JCPenney). So, what are these drops? Fresh states these drops are a DAILY TREATMENT! Fresh goes on to say, "these drops gently exfoliates, softens, and smoothes dry, flaky lips to keep them looking flawless and READY FOR LIPSTICK." These drops are also "enriched with AHAs—a blend of sugar and natural fruit extracts and hibiscus flower extract—this lightweight water-based fluid preps and primes the lips’ surface and improves signs of damage for a youthful look" You might be asking, what is the difference between the SERUM and these DROPS? I know I was. You can read my review for the serum (linked above), but in a nutshell I found the serum to be nourishing and plumping (without any sensation). The only negative I've found with the serum, is that it works great with lip gloss but is slightly conflicting with lipstick application. So I use it at night instead of during the day. Now, how do I feel about these lip wonder drops! These lip drops, contain a dropper. It works really well. You apply 1-2 drops on your lips. Use your finger to work the drops into your lips. Your lips immediately feel hydrated, BUT....the hydration doesn't last. These drops QUICKLY DRY and the hydration you initially felt is gone! Yes, your lips are better than they initially were, but my lips didn't feel plump...I still saw lines and there was VERY LIGHT exfoliation. I kept asking myself, do I need this? I exfoliate my lips every morning with a lip scrub (see my Sara Happ lip scrub reviews here). I then use a lip primer (Sara Happ primer review $28)(QVC, Nordstrom) every morning to prime & plump my lips for lipstick or lip gloss. At night, I use Fresh's Advanced Therapy Lip Balm or Fresh Caramel Lip Caramel Hydrating Balm (review here). For me, these lip wonder drops don't provide enough hydration for my lips. They only lightly exfoliate. After application, I can still see fine lines. MAYBE these drops are good if you're on the go or traveling. It's a quick way to prep your lips. Also, these drops won't conflict with lipstick or lip gloss. But for me, the results are just OK. Again, when you initially apply these drops you're like WOW, but as it dries you're like HMMM. LOL It's not a bad product, but I don't think it's as great as it could've been. These drops are to PREP the lips for lipstick or lipgloss application. So it has to dry down fast. I just feel my Sara Happ lip primer does a better job. It primes. It plumps. That's what I need in my skincare regimen.

Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial Review
Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links. I get commission for purchases or clicks made through links in this post.
Not Sponsored. The more I review Drunk Elephant skincare products, the more I'm finding either I LOVE or DISLIKE the product. That brings me to today's review of Drunk Elephant's T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial ($28). I purchased this deluxe mini set from Sephora (full size at Sephora, JCPenney). It's currently out of stock at Sephora, but still available on Drunk Elephant's website. It's a great size to buy if you're trying to decide if it will work for you. Babyfacial is a 25% AHA & 2% BHA (Glycolic plus Tartaric, Lactic, Citric and Salicylic Acids) resurfacing facial (that exfoliates the pore lining and gets rid of built-up dead skin cells). It is suppose to improve skin texture, clarity and revitalize dull skin. As Drunk Elephant says, "It'll knock your cells off". Babyfacial also combines potent antioxidants such as matcha tea, apple fruit and milk thistle to soothe, replenish, moisturize and nourish skin. Drunk Elephant also included chick pea flour and niacinamide for brightening. It also has pumpkin ferment for amazing enzymatic action. Well, that's a lot! I have dry & sensitive skin, but Drunk Elephant states this facial can be used by ALL SKIN TYPES. I was a little bit nervous, because Drunk Elephant includes a pamphlet that if your skin is in a confused state (sunburn, redness or sensitized areas) wait until things are on the calm side before using Babyfacial. Well, my skin is always sensitive! LOL So I just went with it. I applied this tan colored cream all over my face. Left it on for 20 minutes (as directed). There was some tingling, but nothing alarming. I didn't turn red. They then tell you to wash your face with warm water. I did. Even after washing it off, I still felt like what was a light cream on my face. I was underwhelmed with my results. My skin didn't feel re-textured at all. It felt a little softer, but my pores didn't feel purified etc. This is suppose to be a once a week treatment. But again, it just didn't work for me. After the facial, you're suppose to apply the Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil (reviewed here). This oil is really good when paired with the night serum. They work well TOGETHER! You probably won't like how they FEEL on your face, but I was very impressed with the results. So again, I didn't like my results from Babyfacial. For re-texturing, I really like Dr. Dennis Gross' Alpha Beta Ultra Gentle Daily Peel Pads (review here). With those I felt an IMMEDIATE difference in the appearance and feel of my skin. I also love MURAD's Intensive C Radiance Peel (review here) and MURAD's Skin Smoothing Polish (review here).

Drunk Elephant Lippe Balm Review
Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links. I get commission for purchases or clicks made through links in this post.
Not Sponsored. Hey Guys! I'm back from my Thanksgiving coma :P I'd like to review some things this week from my Sephora haul. I've been wanting to try Drunk Elephant's Lippe Balm ($18) (Sephora, JCPenney) for awhile. Drunk Elephant describes their lip balm as a moisturizing and volumizing lip balm that helps nourish lips. It contains avocado, mongongo, cranberry and marula oils. All of these ingredients deeply moisturize, replenish, hydrate and soften lips. This lip balm contains peptides and sea fern algae to plump lips. It also contains green tea leaf and vitamin C to help neutralize free radicals and environmental aggressors which cause premature signs of aging. I really love this lip balm! It is SUPER MOISTURIZING. That's the first thing you'll notice & feel. That moisture lasts all day. Plumping? Moisturized lips automatically look fuller. Don't expect super plump lips. Also my lip lines were still visible after application. There was no tingling or sensation. There's no scent. It's just a great moisturizing lip balm! The packaging is super compact. It fits in the palm of your hands. It will easily fit in your purse, desk drawer etc. It's perfect as a stocking stuffer or Christmas Kringle gift. I'm really impressed. I put it right up there with my FAVORITE lip balm ... Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Balm $26 (Sephora). I feel the Fresh lip balm is just slightly more nourishing to the lips. The only thing that kind of irks me about this lip balm is the width of the lip balm. The circle is really wide. I have full lips and it goes pass mine as I apply. LOL But bottom line, this formula works! View my other DE reviews here.

Thanksgiving 2018
I hope everyone had a really good Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is usually very casual for me, so I decided to wear my Joe's Pie Diner tee that I purchased from the musical Waitress and some leggings. Thanksgiving morning I always love watching the Macy's Day Parade. I want to see the new Grinch Movie. Everyone says it's so good. I cooked Thanksgiving dinner all by myself this year. I started preparing the seafood gumbo two days ago. Then I worked on all the trimmings, such as the cornbread stuffing and potato salad. I left the turkey for this morning. Everything tasted really good. I was pleased. For dessert I had sweet potato pie topped with Cool Whip. I love the Cool Whip top. I received a 2018 Thanksgiving catalogue from Whole Foods. I wish I could show you the inside, because it was so pretty. You would literally want to buy all the food showcased in the catalogue. I've never had my Thanksgiving dinner catered. I've either dined out or cooked at home. Shopping? I've done a little. Bath and Body Works had their 2-pack Wallflowers for only $5.75 today. I think they're doing daily deals, so look for them. I also love their room sprays. They were buy 3, get 3 free. Beauty Bakerie currently has 30% off all of their products. I've wanted to try their base makeup for awhile. My Sephora haul came in the other day. I'll be testing and reviewing those items soon. PR for Mally Beauty sent me her entire collection of shadowsticks to review. So I'll be testing those as well. Nordstrom had a really good sale on shoes. I had these Chocolate Blu Gaia black suede shoes on my wish list, so I purchased them. They feel so good! The padding is amazing. It's like walking on a cloud. I hope you and your family had a fun & tasty Thanksgiving!

Sara Happ Sugar and Shine Holiday Lip Kit: Hot Cocoa & Pink Marshmallow Lip Scrub and Whipped Vanilla Lip Gloss Review
Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links. I get commission for purchases or clicks made through links in this post.
PR Sample: I received Sara Happ's Sugar and Shine Holiday Lip Kit ($38) to review. This is a limited-edition, holiday-themed lip scrub & gloss set that are in tubes! This makes them so easy to travel with and portable. It also makes a great Christmas gift. All opinion's in this post and in my video are 100% my own. Below are my thoughts.
This set includes two (2) lip scrubs (Hot Cocoa & Pink Marshmallow) and one (1) lip gloss (Whipped Vanilla). The packaging also serves as a cute ornament! I love that beauty companies are putting their products in ornament packaging. Can you imagine someone making a BEAUTY Christmas tree for you, filled with beauty products!?! It would be so nice. Well let me share my thoughts with you on each product. I've been testing these for a couple of weeks now.

Sara Happ Sugar and Shine Holiday Lip Kit is Sweet
This set includes two (2) lip scrubs (Hot Cocoa & Pink Marshmallow) and one (1) lip gloss (Whipped Vanilla). The packaging also serves as a cute ornament! I love that beauty companies are putting their products in ornament packaging. Can you imagine someone making a BEAUTY Christmas tree for you, filled with beauty products!?! It would be so nice. Well let me share my thoughts with you on each product. I've been testing these for a couple of weeks now.
Hot Cocoa Lip Scrub
It smells exactly like hot cocoa with whip cream! It smells really good. Now, the taste! It has both a bitter & sweet taste. This took me off guard at first. I'm use to drinking milk chocolate hot cocoa, which is sweet. I had to think about it a bit, this tasted more like DARK CHOCOLATE. Dark chocolate is more bitter. I'm not sure if that is what Sara Happ was channeling, but that's what I tasted. So if you're a fan of dark chocolate, then you will love this scrub. It's more bitter than sweet. It exfoliates and moisturizes the lips really well. You can use the applicator to apply the scrub directly to the lips or squeeze a small amount on your fingertips and apply it to your lips.
Pink Marshmallow Lip Scrub
I love pink marshmallows! I love marshmallows period. Well this pink marshmallow lip scrub smells just like marshmallows (which is a soft scent) and tastes like them (a very SWEET taste). It's a sweet sugar taste. This scrub also exfoliates and moisturizes lips really well.
The Lip Slip Whipped Vanilla Lip Gloss
The last product you apply to your lips is Sara Happ's Whipped Vanilla Lip Slip! It's a lip gloss that smells like vanilla frosting. I've reviewed The Lip Slip Balm in a jar and also The Lip Slip Gloss in a tube. I found both to be moisturizing and have staying power. The same for this one! I love that Sara Happ made this scented and look forward to her making more scented glosses. The Lip Slip is a rich, thick and highly moisturizing gloss. I really liked this set and feel it will make a great stocking stuffer or office gift. It's a great introduction to Sara Happ.
