Shea Shea Bakery Chocolate Buttercream Body Creme Review

Not Sponsored: I'm doing a seven-part series on an assortment of products I purchased from Shea Shea Bakery. You can read my review on their candles & lip scrub here. Today I'm reviewing Shea Shea's Bakery Chocolate Buttercream Body Creme. I love chocolate skincare & body products! This chocolate body creme is housed in a really cute jar. I love their packaging. There's a picture of a delicious chocolate frosted cupcake on both the lid and label around the jar. When you open the lid, you're greeted with a milk chocolate mousse body creme. It's very light & airy. The scent is authentically chocolate. It smells so good :) Shea Shea Bakery describes this body creme as a "hand whipped body creme, with a silky smooth application, light airy formula and easily absorbs without a greasy residue". I definitely agree with that statement. They also state this body creme, "softens skin texture with continued use, provides superior moisture and keeps skin supple and soft". Let me add my two cents. This body creme dries really fast. So apply it to your body one section at a time (hands, arms, legs etc). Everywhere you apply this body creme will have a great chocolate scent. The scent is soft & smells really good. You're skin will also feel soft. As far as providing moisture...NO. I didn't find this moisturizing. If you're looking for something to make you smell good and give your skin a chocolatey scent ... buy it! If you're looking for moisture, this will not provide moisture. I like it, but I have to apply this atop a scentless moisturizing lotion like my fave Archipelago Botanicals Oat Milk Lotion or alone as I'm going to bed (sleep / sweet chocolate dreams). I consider this body creme a little bedtime or weekend luxury skin treat. The scent is relaxing.
