Not Sponsored: I'm a huge fan of makeup sponges. I use them more than I do my makeup brushes. I love the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponges. I use them to apply my foundation, bronzer concealer, and contour. Real Techniques also has Mini Miracle Complexion Sponges (
Walgreens,
ULTA,
Kohl's,
Target). I've been skeptical about mini sponges. Do you REALLY need them? I just thought of them as an extra way to make money. There was a sale on these, so I decided to give them a chance (plus I was curious). When I got these, I thought they were really small (to the eye). I thought my fingers would barely be able to hold one. LOL Well, they are the PERFECT fit! If you look at my gif below, these fit perfectly for your under-eye area. That's where I apply my
Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector and
Tarte Shape Tape Concealer. These mini sponges are gentler and work the product in better (for the under eye area) than the larger sponge. You have a lot more precision and it doesn't move the product like the larger sponge. I'm also using LESS product with these mini sponges. I use the angle tip to apply my concealer. There's also a pointy end to this sponge. This is really good when you're contouring your nose or applying highlighter to your nose, cheeks, cupids bow etc. Real Techniques states you can use these for foundation and powder, but I think they're a little small for those things. I much rather use the larger sponge. I can also see using these for blush application. As you can tell, I really love these. There are so many uses for them. Don't hesitate about purchasing them. Give them a try. Glad I did!
