You are beautiful. Hopefully you tell yourself this everyday. Self-confidence is one of the sexiest things in the world. It’s something we should all strive for - to love ourselves. It doesn’t make us arrogant or vain or anything like that. It makes us happy. Of course, real beauty comes from within - please pardon the cliche - but it’s not wrong to want our outside to reflect this. If you feel like your beauty routine has become more of a rut, then don’t worry. There are plenty of tips and tricks you can use to mix things up and give you that extra spark you’ve been looking for.
Makeup Routine
Sometimes it’s the smallest of things which can make a huge difference for your confidence. Say for instance you never wear red lipstick because you don’t think you can pull it off. You’re worried you don’t suit winged eyeliner. Your eyebrows never quite look how you want them to. So why not mix things up a little? Buy that lipstick. Experiment with your eyeshadow. Try out the styles that scare you. Makeup shouldn’t feel like you’re putting on a mask everyday. It should be about you feeling comfortable in your own skin, you just want to bring out the best of it.
Colour it Up
Changing your hair is one of the most versatile beauty treatments out there. After all - say it with us now - hair grows back. You can try out the bob you’ve been contemplating for years. You could try a fringe. You could dye it a completely different colour all together. Or try out an ombre effect if you don’t want to completely change. Your hair is a blank canvas and you can do whatever you like with it.
Cosmetic Surgery
Ok so this one is taking a much larger step than the others and is definitely not to be taken lightly. However, the chances are if you’re thinking about, you’ve been thinking about it for a long time. Obviously there can be controversy surrounding this but you don’t need to worry about that. You need to focus on you, and what will make you feel better. You could be hung up on this one part of yourself that only you notice, and if you got it changed it would make a world of difference. Before you undergo any kind of cosmetic procedure, make sure you’ve done plenty of research and the place is going to look after you. If it makes you feel more comfortable, you could plan ahead for mistreatment or medical negligence.
