Not Sponsored: It's October 1st and OFFICIALLY Pumpkin Spice Day you guys. As if we didn't know (with all the commercialism). LOL Despite it being 90 degrees Fahrenheit here in New Orleans, my home is literally a pumpkin palooza, both inside and out. I'm just keeping the central air on really low and pretending its cool outside. LOL I went to Lowe's Garden Center and picked out some real pumpkins for the front of my home. Nothing too big. They had a really nice selection and great prices. I couldn't resist the mini pumpkins they had in a bag, so I grabbed them as well. Gave them all a good rinsing-off and they were good to go :) Remember my Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice post back in August (yes, I've been planning for awhile), where I was contemplating buying the two pillows (here and here) below. Well here they are...I purchased them. They really compliment one another and pair well together. My house even smells like pumpkin. I believe in aromatherapy. It keeps you in a great spirit. I purchased Pumpkin Pecan Waffles, Pumpkin Cupcake, and Caramel Pumpkin Swirl air fresheners from Bath & Body Works. I purchased Apple Pumpkin and Spiced Pumpkin room sprays from Yankee Candle. They smell so good and you don't have to use much because they're concentrated. I love this Heirloom Pumpkin Nightlight from Bath and Body Works that holds their Wallflowers Fragrance Plugs. It looks really good against the stone backsplash in my kitchen. Bath and Body Works just came out with a Glittery Turkey one you guys. Its so cute! Perfect for Thanksgiving. The Pumpkin Donut Shop candle you see below is from Bath and Body Works last year. Yes, I'm guilty. I hold over a few candles from year to year. I'll have to show you the new ones I purchased in another post. I love artificial pumpkins inside my home. Grandin Road held a five-hour sale, so I got a great deal on this orange pumpkin cutie. And in my previous post, I told you guys how much I am loving Tea Time Magazine. I've never been one to keep magazines. I read and then recycle them. But these issues are jam-packed with a plethora of great information. I have to hold onto them for a little while. I'm glad its not a monthly magazine. LOL As you can see, there's pumpkin everything at my home. It really puts me in the holiday spirit.
