Not Sponsored: I recently purged my nail lacquer collection. I literally got rid of half of my collection. Some polish started to turn and it was getting ugly. HaHaHa I purchased a lot of nail polish when I first started blogging. I tried different colors to see what worked and didn't work for me. However the last year or so, I've hardly worn any nail polish. I've been sporting an au naturale look ;) Well now I know what colors work for me! Anything in the red group. I always get compliments when I wear that color, whether its lipstick, a red shirt, nail polish etc. I was on Nordstrom's website and noticed a brand called Static Nails. I had never heard of them before. The founder is a woman. Her name is Alexis Irene. Her nail lacquer is loaded with natural antioxidants for a healthy manicure. It's VEGAN, paraben-free, toluene-free; dibutyl phthalate-free; diethylhexyl phthalate-free; formaldehyde-free; camphor-free; ethyl tosylamide-free; xylene-free; animal byproduct-free; fragrance-free. It's also cruelty-free! How awesome is that!?! When you pair this nail lacquer with a primer and top coat your manicure can last up to 10 days. It's formulated with rosehip to promote nail growth, coconut oil to nourish dry, brittle nails and green tea to help make your nails stronger. Each color contains a blend of three natural antioxidants that can help strengthen, lengthen, repair and hydrate your natural nails. Ingredients vary by shade and can include rosehip, coconut oil, green tea, bamboo, biotin, marula oil, balm mint and primrose. I love the simplicity of the bottle. The color choices and product names are really cool. This beautiful red is called Cherry Bomber! She has two other reds in her collection. But I loved the richness of this one. This nail lacquer is highly pigmented. I only needed one coat. It dries super fast. Love the wide angle brush. It proved to be very durable. I have to get her Primer and Top Coat. I just used what was in my collection. I highly recommend this nail lacquer. It's very grown-up and sophisticated. I'll definitely be adding more colors to my collection. The color reminded me of a Valentine's Day (thank you) card I received years ago. 2012 to be exact. It was from a BRILLIANT FASHION ILLUSTRATOR, Sandy M. Her designs and attention to detail were always superb. I've cherished this card over the years. It's on display in my makeup room. It's a joy to look at each and every day. It always puts a SMILE on my face.
