Not Sponsored: I've been wanting to try TULA Probiotic Skincare and a special came up where I was able to receive a deluxe sample of several of their products. This must be a deluxe, DELUXE sample size, because I was able to use the products below for a month! HaHaHa Plus, I found out you need very little product. Let me give you some background information on TULA. They believe in probiotics (natural good-for-you bacteria) to promote healthy skin. They use natural ingredients to help feed your skin. Their products "are 100% free from phthalates, parabens, propylene glycol, petrolatum, gluten, and mineral oil. They are also cruelty free." The creator of TULA Skincare is Dr. Raj. I have dry, sensitive and reactive skin. My go to skincare is REN Skincare. So I'll be comparing the products below to REN.

TULA Probiotic Skincare | Purifying Face Cleanser - Sweet
TULA's Purifying Face Cleanser has a number of things in it: Lactic acid naturally cleanses and exfoliates to reveal healthy, radiant looking skin. Chicory root is a natural anti-inflammatory prebiotic that helps boost the appearance of firmer skin. Turmeric root is a powerful antioxidant that helps reduce signs of inflammation. Blueberries are rich in antioxidants that help protect from free-radical attack. Probiotics hydrate and lock in moisture. I found the cleanser to be scent-free. Very clinical. I don't mind that. It really lathers up, so that concerned me (that usually means it can be drying). It had more of a shampoo texture than cleanser texture. It cleaned my face beautifully! It took off my makeup and cleansed well. It wasn't until the fifth day, that my skin felt a little drier than normal. But there was NO redness, peeling or flaking. I just needed to add a little more moisturizer to my routine. TULA says that this cleanser is good for oily, normal and dry skin types. For drier types I would get the travel size to try before committing to the larger size. I see that TULA has a Super Calm Gentle Milk Cleanser. I'm going to purchase it and give it a go. I think that would be better for my skin type. I currently use REN's Gentle Cleansing Milk and love it. So I think that would be more comparable. This is a great cleanser, but just not suitable for my skin type. I'll let you know about the other cleanser when I try it.
TULA Probiotic Skincare | Hydrating Day & Night Cream - Sweet
TULA's Hydrating Day & Night Cream is really good. It's white & creamy. It provides lightweight moisture. TULA states it has, Probiotics: help lock in moisture & maintain skin balance, Rice Nutripeptides: help nourish, firm skin & improve look of fine lines & wrinkles and Watermelon Fruit Extract & Squalene: deeply hydrate. As someone who has really DRY SKIN, this didn't provide the level of moisture that I needed but I feel it would be great for other skin types. I still love my Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base, REN Ultra Moisture Day Cream, Fresh Vitamin Nectar Moisture Glow Face Cream, IT Cosmetics Confidence In A Cream, Lumene Day and Night Cream, Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream and REN V-Cense Revitalizing Night Cream for DRY SKIN.
TULA Probiotic Skincare | Illuminating Face Serum - Sweet
Before you use the day or night cream, apply TULA's Illuminating Face Serum. Serums sink in fast and really help everything else work better. This is a lightweight creamy white serum. My skin absorbed it really well. My skin felt nourished and it had a beautiful glow to it afterwards (see my hand below). Again, it's a clinical scent. Again, I have my favorites in serums that give me more of what I need. For example, because I'm 48 I really love Fresh's Black Tea Kombucha that plumps up my skin. When I need that extra glow, I find Fresh's Vitamin Nectar Glow Juice, Glow Cream and Glow Water to be very effective. When I need exfoliation, I rely on Mad Hippie's Vitamin A Serum. I also like REN's Radiance Perfection Serum. This is nice, but for me there's better. TULA has great products, but I've found other products from other brands a lot better for me.
