Charlotte Tilbury | Very Victoria Lipstick Review

Not Sponsored: I've always been a lipstick girl! I love lipstick. A couple of years ago, I fell in love with Charlotte Tilbury's Pillow Talk Collection (reviewed here and here; video review here). I wanted to try more of her lipsticks. So I went online, and a lot of people were talking about a lip color called Very Victoria. It peaked my interest (very subtle lip color) and I went ahead and purchased it. Very Victoria (here, here, here, here, here) is a taupe nude matte lipstick. Pillow Talk is a pink nude matte lipstick. I like both shades. I only have foundation and lipstick on in the picture below. I think once I pair Very Victoria with a blush etc., it will bring me out more. It's one of those shades that make your natural lip color look better. I use to detest matte lipsticks way back when (I felt they were so dry), but I love the formula of Charlotte Tilbury's matte lipsticks. Her matte lipsticks are creamy and feel really good on the lips. They apply smoothly. When applying matte lipsticks, you really need smooth lips. If you have cracked or dry lips, all of those flaws are going to show. It's important to have a lip care regimen, to keep them prepped for these kinds of lipsticks. I highly recommend Sara Happ lip scrubs (here, here, here, here) and Fresh's Advanced Therapy Lip Balm (here and here). A great on-the-go (keep it in your purse or desk drawer lip exfoliator) are the Fresh Advanced Therapy Lip Wonder Drops (here, here, here and here). The lipstick casing for Charlotte Tilbury's lipsticks are luxurious. Beautiful gold. Nice weight. It's not light. It's not too heavy. I love the CT insignia at the top of the cap. Her name is inscribed on the casing itself. The name of this lipstick was inspired by Victoria Beckham. So no qualms here. Charlotte Tilbury, offers lipsticks in MATTE, SATIN, and GLOSSY. So I will be trying some others.
