Aveeno Calm + Restore Nourishing Oat Cleanser, Triple Oat Serum and Oat Gel Moisturizer For Sensitive Skin Review

Not Sponsored: Hey Everybody I was an Aveeno Ambassador from 2014 - 2017. I love their products. I still use their body lotion and body wash on my sensitive skin. But while trying their products, I found out that two of their skincare collections didn't work for me: Absolutely Ageless and Positively Radiant. Both were just too much (harsh) for my dry, sensitive and reactive skin. Their Ultra Calming Skincare Collection did work for me, but not the moisturizer. Well, I'm happy to say, Aveeno has come out with a Calm + Restore Skincare Collection designed specifically for SENSITIVE SKIN. It's a three piece collection that is REALLY GOOD! ULTA Beauty ran a sale and so I thought this would be the perfect time to test out this collection. I've been using it for a month now, so I thought it would be great to share my thoughts. Aveeno's Calm + Restore Nourishing Oat Cleanser for Sensitive Skin (Walgreens, ULTA) is a gel facial cleanser. My skin usually rejects gel cleansers, but I had no problems with this one. The cleanser is creamy. I double cleanse with Clinique's Take The Day Off first. But this Aveeno cleanser is great, because your skin feels clean, there is no scent, it rinses off cleanly (no residue) and your skin doesn't feel stripped (dried out). It contains a prebiotic triple oat complex to soothe dry itchy skin. After you cleanse your skin, then you apply the Aveeno Calm + Restore Triple Oat Serum for Sensitive Skin (ULTA). I love serums! Apply 3-4 drops to your face and then work it in. This serum is lightweight. Your skin will drink it up. No sticky or tacky residue. Just clean, nourished skin. This also has nourishing oat and calming feverfew. I also really appreciate that these products are fragrance-free. Lastly, you apply the Aveeno Calm + Restore Oat Gel Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin (Walgreens, ULTA). You guys it's creamy and makes your skin feel nourished. I liked that it wasn't heavy, but moisturizing. Does it moisturize for 24 hours as Aveeno states? I think its a little short on that promise. All day or All night, but not 24 hours. You'll need something in the morning or that evening. But its really good. This is a solid skincare system. My mom even tried and loved it. Its her new skincare. I love the price point. Will I continue to use it? Well, I had one little hiccup. I have adult acne. Not bad acne, but a pimple will pop up every now and then. The only cleanser that keeps my skin in check is REN Gentle Cleansing Milk, REN Clarifying Clay Cleanser and REN Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask. While using the Aveeno two pimples popped up and so I'm back on REN. But if you don't have an acne issue, this new Aveeno Sensitive Skin Collection is for you. I was hoping, because it would really save me some money. HaHa So those are my thoughts! I hope this review helps you with your decision making.
