Not Sponsored: Slap Ya Momma's BBQ Restaurant, in Biloxi, Mississippi has to be one of the cutest restaurants on Beach Boulevard. The pig butt theme is scattered about throughout the premises. Not only is it cute on the outside, but the inside as well. The colorful doors (walls), vintage gumball machines, signage (pig out zone, BBQ rocks etc), Let's Meat Here place settings and Knife, Fork, Spoon not required for eating BBQ wall display are just some of its charming decor. Butt ... Butt ... Butt ... There's More! How is the food? I ordered a pina colada. It was very pretty, but it lacked taste. I've had pina coladas that were sweeter and have a little more "punch" to them. Maybe this pina colada was a little more natural, so maybe that is the reason. As an appetizer I ordered Pork Potato Skins. They are halved potatoes topped with queso cheese, slow smoked pulled pork, topped with sour cream and green onion. I LOVE POTATO SKINS! But I didn't care for these. I'm just not a fan of queso cheese. I'm use to cheddar cheese. But besides the cheese, the pulled pork was tough. I ate a half of one and stopped. So it wasn't going too well :( My friend ordered the BBQ Brisket, corn and macaroni. The BBQ Brisket was real good. It was tender and flavorful. I ordered the Bone In Half Chicken with potato salad and macaroni. Their potato salad is really good. I didn't care for their macaroni. It resembled pasta shells with a white cheese sauce. I didn't care for their Bone In Half Chicken. For me, it didn't have a smoked taste. It was also dry. So overall, I was disappointed with the food at Slap Ya Momma's. The brisket and potato salad were excellent. Maybe their ribs are really good. From the pictures I took, you can see I loved the decor much more. They also have cute souvenirs. It's a cute place. Great photo op. Kitschy and Catchy! But, that's about it :(
