Not Sponsored: Stalla is an Italian restaurant nestled inside The Beau Rivage Casino & Resort in Biloxi, Mississppi. I stayed there several days and although I have stayed there before I have never eaten at Stalla. I made reservations and went. The restaurant itself is really beautiful. Although inside a hotel/casino, it gives you an outdoor ambiance. There are potted spiral topiaries with fairy lights. There are barrels stacked simulating wine barrels. They also have white tablecloth draped tables. I love the lanterns and candlelight. They have thought of everything to mimic an authentic Italian restaurant. Its truly lovely. I was seated and everything was perfect! Just a side note. I don't understand why people don't dress up for dinner anymore. You don't have to wear a cocktail dress, but seriously ... sweats??? There's nice casual attire out there. Its just an observation. A basket of bread was served ... SO GOOD! It was delicious and it was fun pairing the sauces with the bread. For dinner, I ordered the Fettuccine with grilled chicken and mushrooms. My dish was edible, but it didn't have any flavor. I found it to be very bland. For dessert I ordered the canoli (first time ever trying it), but I wasn't a fan of it either. So overall, I was underwhelmed with it all. Loved the decor, but the food was a major disappointment. An Italian restaurant I really loved was Bravo Italian Kitchen. We use to have one in Metairie, but they closed. I don't know why, because they were ALWAYS busy. I think the rent kept skyrocketing where they were located. Bravo Italian Kitchen has 27 restaurants in the US. Their food is so good! I loved their focaccia bread. I'll have to start visiting some more Italian restaurants. Just to see what's out there.
