LUSH Cosmetic Lad Moisturizer Review

Not Sponsored: I have dry, sensitive and reactive skin. I believe I have already found my holy grail moisturizer in Bobbi Brown's Vitamin Enriched Face Base (review here) and Hydrating Water Fresh Cream (review here), but I'm always open to trying new moisturizers. When I ordered Lush's Trick or Treat (review here) and Cookie Dough Lip Scrub (review here), I was sent a sample of Lush's Cosmetic Lad Moisturizer. What caught my eye, was that this moisturizer is ideal for all sensitive skin types. It also combats irritation and and redness. This moisturizer contains aloe vera gel (soothes), lavender honey water (hydrates), chamomile (soothes) and almond oil (moisturizes). This moisturizer has a creamy white consistency. I would say it's a medium weight. The scent is a blend of all the ingredients. I didn't have very good results using this moisturizer. I felt it sat atop my skin. My skin didn't feel moisturized after using it. I also began to break out, so I stopped. It received wonderful reviews on Lush's website, so maybe this just didn't work for me. There's something about the formula, my skin just doesn't like. So to be safe, I would suggest getting a sample before committing to a full size. I'm so happy many brands offer samples now.
