Not Sponsored: I purchased Beauty Bakerie's Brownie Bar the beginning of this year. It's really nice, but I haven't been using it very much. So when I saw where the company came out with a Lemon Bar Face Palette, my interest peaked. I said to myself, "I wonder if this would work for me?" I ordered it and you guys I'm in love. Beauty Bakerie gives you a contour, bronzer and highlighting shade. I swatched all three and they are pigmented. Let's talk application! I used my makeup brushes to apply everything and a Beautyblender to blend things out. I contoured the top of my forehead and nose. The bronzer (middle) shade can also double as a blush (as shown in my pictures below). From the swatch it looks like it would be too light to be used as a blush, but it really showed up beautiful. I highlighted my nose and the tops of my cheeks. I also tried these shades as eye-shadow, but in that capacity they didn't work very well (from my pictures below). However in a pinch, these shades will give you a nice wash of color on the eyes. On my lips is Beauty Bakerie's Gingersnap. Isn't it a beautiful color for this time of year!?! Do you see how nice my makeup is laying? I just tried Beauty Bakerie's The Butter HydraSilk Primer + Antioxidants. I am super loving this primer, because it makes everything stay in place. I think this Lemon Bar palette is more complimentary to my skin tone than Brownie Bar. I think Brownie would look better on someone darker. Sometimes you just have to try out different options.
