Sunday Riley Flash Fix Good Genes + Ceramic Slip Review

Not Sponsored: I purchased Sunday Riley's Flash Fix Good Genes + Ceramic Slip during ULTA's 21 Days of Beauty Sale. I've already tried Good Genes (review here)(SpaceNK, Bloomingdales, Revolve, Macys, Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Free People, Olivela) and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! It truly resurfaces your skin, helps skincare products work better and helps your makeup lay better. But I've always been curious about the Ceramic Slip cleanser (SpaceNK, Net-A-Porter, Revolve, Macys, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Olivela, ASOS, Harvey Nichols). Ceramic Slip is a foaming cleanser, that is described as containing "four gentle, plant-based soaps that lift up and wash away dirt and impurities without stripping the skin. French green clay pulls dirt, oil, pollution, and makeup out of the pores while rice oil esters protect the skin from dehydration. Impurities are pulled out, clean hydration is pulled in." Well as someone who has dry skin, I was curious to see how this cleanser would work for me. Ceramic Slip is milky white. When combined with water, it foams up on the skin. It feels really good on the skin. I found that not only did it cleanse really well, but it plowed through and removed make-up with ease. THE TEST (as always ... with any cleanser AND if you have dry skin) was how did my skin feel, once I washed the cleanser off my face? Although, not totally stripped! My dry skin immediately felt like I needed a really good moisturizer. I tried using this cleanser a second time, and it felt the same way. There's no way, I can use Ceramic Slip on a daily basis. It's too much for my dry skin to handle. Is it a bad cleanser? NO. I just feel it would work better for OILY, COMBINATION and maybe NORMAL SKIN TYPES. I would purchase Sunday Riley Flash Fix (Revolve, Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, SpaceNK, Nordstrom, Anthropologie, Olivela, Selfridges) to test it out and see if it works for you (it's cheaper than buying full size products). For DRY TYPES, my suggestion is to remove your makeup with the ever-so-gentle, but powerful Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm (review here)(Saks Fifth Avenue, Harrods, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Selfridges); and then use my cleanser of choice for dry/sensitive skin REN Gentle Cleansing Milk (review here)(Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, SSense).

Sally Hansen Limited Edition PEEPS Insta-Dri Nail Polish In Fruit Punch And Pink | Review And Swatches

PEEPS is definitely on a roll this year, because they also collaborated with PEZ (which I reviewed a couple of days ago). The Sally Hansen Limited Edition Insta-Dri PEEPS Nail Polish comes in two duo packs Peeps & Love (yellow & lavender) and (white & sparkly wild berry); A 4-polish set called Chillin With My Peeps (eBay); Also individually in white (715), yellow (710, blue (712), pink (711), sparkly wild berry (714), lavender (714), fruit punch (716). I purchased fruit punch and pink. Fruit punch is an orange-y red. I love it. I was worried about the pink. I didn't care for it so much when I saw its color in the bottle. But after I tried it on, I thought it was fun. With short nails, it's not too much. I love the images of the peeps & chicks on the nail polish cap. It makes for a nice display in my makeup room. People have been purchasing these and Easter is only 19 days away! You may have to search. Look on Target, Sally Hansen, ULTA, Amazon, Walmart's websites and if not eBay should have what you're looking for.

Natural Ways To Deal With A Toothache

Toothaches can be very hard to handle. If you are experiencing a toothache and you're unable to go to your dentist immediately there are some things you can do at home to help reduce the pain until you can see your dentist. Natural remedies for toothaches abound and some of the best ones are already in your home.

Use Salt Water

Saltwater rinses are one of the easiest and most effective ways to help reduce pain in your tooth. Saltwater has naturally antiseptic properties.

Washing your mouth with salt water will not only help to reduce the inflammation in your tooth but it can also help to remove any food particles that may be stuck in between your teeth causing the pain to become worse.

Make A Cold Compress

A cold compress is a great way to relieve dental pain. Applying a cold compress to the affected area will cause the blood vessels to tighten.

Place the diluted clove oil on a cotton ball and place it on the tooth a few times throughout the day. Clove oil can also be used as a mouthwash. Simply place a few drops of clove oil in some water and then use it as a mouthwash.

Try Peppermint

When you think of peppermint you probably think of the perfect cup of tea. However, peppermint can also be used for easing a toothache. You can use a peppermint tea bag and apply it to the aching tooth.

The peppermint bag should be warmed slightly. You can do this by putting it in the microwave. Interestingly, using the peppermint tea bag slightly chill can also bring relief. This means you can put the teabag in the freezer for a few minutes and then use it on the affected area.

Toothaches may happen if you are wearing braces too, so talk to your Invisalign doctor if you experience any discomfort. This type of pain will subside with time.

I walked in their candy aisle to get some jelly beans for my mom, when I saw the PEZ Candy Easter display. I still have to get the blue one, to complete my collection. I think they're so cute. My little PEZ collection is super small, but it seems HOLIDAYS are my theme! I have a snowman, gingerbread man, white rabbit, brown rabbit and now peeps! I collect things that truly mean something to me. It may invoke a memory, pleasure or treasure from the past or something I currently love. I'm so glad PEZ collaborated with them. The company truly is a treasure and brings joy to all ages.

I have eaten MANY cookies (my first love was the cookie monster character from Sesame Street), but I have never tasted cookies so deliciously good! She always included fresh baked cookies as a sweet option for her clients. She noticed that customers were asking for more cookies in their next order. Paying attention to this detail, Brooke and her husband Tomas decided to start this wonderful cookie adventure. Let me tell you briefly about the inspiration behind the name of the company. They named it after their daughter, Isabella (a.k.a Bells). I thought that was so sweet! But that's not the only thing that is sweet about this company! Bell's Cookie Co. bakes cookies from scratch daily, only using the best quality ingredients. The company ships NATIONWIDE. You can shop via their website or Goldbelly. They even do large and/or corporate orders! The hardest thing for you will be choosing what flavors you want! They offer chocolate chunk, snickerdoodle, red velvet, colombian corn, chocolate monster, triple peanut butter chip and oat, the pantry, lemon blueberry & shortbread, confetti, vegan + gluten free double chocolate, the bells, and s'more. There wasn't one cookie, I didn't love out of the assortment I received. Let me talk about packaging! The box the cookies are shipped in is beautiful! I love its beautiful colors. The box puts a smile on your face before even eating a cookie. The box is sturdy and each cookie is individually wrapped and sealed for freshness. You receive a cute insert that shows a picture of the cookies, their names and corresponding description. Then the joy is eating those delicious freshly baked cookies.
