Not Sponsored: The first time I fell in love with a Bobbi Brown Face And Cheek Palette was back in 2015. It was part of her Sandy Nudes Collection. It's a palette that always makes me look great. I just recently wore it to a King Cake Tea. To preserve it, I only use it for evening or special occasions. Yes, I am faithfully holding on. So I was excited to see that she released another face palette. Maybe I wasn't paying attention all those years where she may have released something else, but my eyes did gravitate to this particular Bobbi Brown Face And Cheek Palette (Bloomingdales, Macys, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, and Saks Fifth Avenue). This palette is offered in Light, Medium and Deep. Below is what differentiates all three:
LIGHT FACE & CHEEK PALETTE (bronzing powder in Golden Light, blush in Nude Peach, illuminating bronzer in Golden Pink).
MEDIUM FACE & CHEEK PALETTE (bronzing powder in Medium, blush in Tawny, illuminating bronzer in Chelsea).
DEEP FACE & CHEEK PALETTE (bronzing powder in Deep, blush in Almond, illuminating bronzer in Brooklyn Nights).
When you look at all three, you'll see why I purchased the palette in Deep. I've learned over the years, that Bobbi Brown's makeup goes on light. It's nice, because it's not harsh, jarring and overall comes across natural. I like natural. Bobbi Brown describes this look as FRESH & NATURAL.
Let me explain, the application of all three sections of the palette to you. You are suppose to mix BOTH the bronzer AND illuminating bronzer TOGETHER; and then with a brush sweep both of them over your cheeks, forehead, nose and chin. But SOMEBODY (that would be me) did not read these directions first ... assumed it was a highlighter ... and applied it as such. I bronzed my face and applied the "highlighter" (which it is not) to my nose. So this explains, why the "highlighter" applied so lightly. So don't do like moi and instead, mix BOTH of these items together and they will ILLUMINATE your skin. I applied my bronzer with a Beautyblender. Sometimes with a brush, bronzer can be applied a little heavy. So to get the effect below, I preferred using a makeup sponge. I also used a makeup sponge to apply the blush. It's a beautiful shade and it blended effortlessly with the bronzer. My lipstick is by Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. It is called Neutral Rose (a neutral pinky rose)(Saks Fifth Avenue, Selfridges, Macys, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Nordstrom). It's a very pretty color, nicely pigmented and feels really creamy on the lips. I received it as a sample, with an order and I am very impressed with this lipstick. I didn't realize it, but Bobbi Brown offers a vast array of various types of lip products. Her company started with ten natural lipstick shades. Her story is very interesting. Overall, the look using these two products is very pretty. It's light, fresh and perfect for Spring & Summer.
