Not Sponsored: This Summer, I finally decided to try popular sunscreen brand Supergoop! I was so impressed with the brand Coola, that I didn't try any other brands. Well I must say, that I am very impressed with Supergoop! I've been using their Every. Single. Face. Watery Lotion SPF 50 Sunscreen while doing chores outside and took it on my recent near-cation where I was exposed to a lot of outdoor elements. It really protects your skin. It contained three (3) products that I was interested in: Sheer Screen, Play and Unseen Sunscreen. Let me discuss each one individually for you below and share my thoughts on using them.
Supergoop! Mineral Sheer Screen SPF 30 (For Face)
Sheer Screen is a 100% Mineral Sunscreen (chemical active-free sunscreen / non-nano oxide sunscreen; great for sensitive skin; provides UVA/UVB protection) that provides SPF 30 protection. You should read-about the differences between chemical (absorbs into the skin) and physical/mineral (sits atop the skin) sunscreen. As far as protection, I've had great results using both chemical and mineral sunscreens. Sheer Screen is strictly for your face. It offers protection against blue light (which we need with all the computer/cell phone use nowadays) and preps skin for makeup (primer under makeup). When trying Coola's mineral sunscreen, I noticed a white cast atop my skin. With Supergoop!'s Sheer Screen initially there's a white cast but it quickly goes away (prefer to Coola's). Supergoop gives an explanation for that: "By nature, 100% mineral SPF is made up of tiny white powders, which makes them impossible to go on clear. But thanks to our breakthrough SheerMatrix Technology, Sheerscreen is lightweight and, as the name suggests, totally sheer – unlike any other mineral SPF out there." Well, they've got that right. And it works like a charm! But if you need even MORE SUN PROTECTION for your face, then go with Supergoop! Every. Single. Face Watery Lotion with a SPF 50 (For Face). You may also be asking, what is the difference between Unseen and Sheer Screen? I know I did! Supergoop! offers an explanation: "Think of Sheerscreen as Unseen’s 100% mineral twin! While Unseen is our invisible clean chemical sunscreen, Sheerscreen is our 100% sheer mineral sunscreen made with skin-soothing non-nano zinc oxide. Both leave a completely natural, weightless finish and multitask as primers + SPF! So, that is why it is important to read up on the differences between chemical and mineral sunscreen. See what works for you!

Supergoop! Play Everyday Lotion SPF 30-50 (For Face & Body)
with Sunflower Extract
Supergoop! Play Everyday Lotion (for face & body) is offered in both MINERAL and CHEMICAL options, as a cream and spray, AND you have a choice of SPF 30 or SPF 50. One thing I must say, Supergoop! gives you A LOT of options! That's a good thing! The chemical SPF 50 option was in this kit. The first thing I noticed was how lightweight this sunscreen is on the skin. It blended in really well into my skin and it has a fresh scent. This sunscreen (SPF50) is water and sweat resistant (80 minutes). Supergoop! describes it as a, "hydrating, fast-absorbing formula [that] provides high performance protection from UVA, UVB and IRA (infrared) rays, while also helping prevent photoaging and dehydration." It's an excellent sunscreen as well! But Supergoop! doesn't an excellent job in explaining when you should us PLAY. They say, "Anytime you'll be outside, especially if you're swimming or sweating (think exercise, a hike or the beach)." That is when you should use this sunscreen! It's also great for kids. Hence the name PLAY!

Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40 (For Face)
Supergoop!'s Unseen Sunscreen with a SPF of 40 is totally INVISIBLE, WEIGHTLESS and SCENTLESS! You can use it as a primer under foundation (your makeup). As far as FACE sunscreens, I truly think Unseen is my favorite for everyday. If I need more protection I would go with PLAY or Every. Single. Face. Supergoop! states, "Unseen Sunscreen is an invisible primer for face that is great for everyday wear, alone or under makeup". "Our best-selling Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40 works on all skin types. It has ingredients that help to soothe skin and maintain moisture, and leaves a natural velvet-y finish that won't feel greasy on oilier skin types."
Reviewing and trying these products ... Also reading up about them, really provided some clarity regarding the differences in Supergoop!'s Sunscreens. As a company, they truly try to tailor and cater to all. They're a really good brand and I highly recommend them.
