Not Sponsored: Too Faced Cosmetics always has the cutest packaging! If you're a foodie lover (like moi), you always "Fall" victim to the brand's Fall & Winter Collections. I'm a collector of foodie things. I love pumpkin pie (actually sweet potato pie) and couldn't resist purchasing this paletten (at least based on the design alone). Well Too Faced's Pumpkin Spice Second Slice Eye Shadow Palette (Macy's, Nordstrom, Selfridges)(and if you're asking ... wait? second slice? what about the first slice?) is pretty much a Part 2 from their 2020 pumpkin spice palette (which I did not purchase ... it was simply a picture of crust, filling and I didn't care for the colors). The eye shadows in the 2020 version were very COLORFUL. This palette has many more earth tones and neutral shades. I think, the main gripe from beauty enthusiasts about Too Faced is that they do the same shades over and over again. I thought about this one day! As you get older, you've been there and done that before. You're bound to see things "go out of style" and "come back in style" again and again. What may not be NEW to you, is definitely NEW to someone else! Also, makeup does expire! I have a lot of old makeup, simply for the packaging. I don't want to use that old expired stuff on my face. So makeup companies have to reuse colors. You just don't stop wearing browns and such etc. Ok, so that is my makeup lecture for the day. All the shades in the palette swatched really well for me and laid nicely on the eyes. You have a nice assortment of both light to dark orange, brown, rust etc. shades. You also have some bronzes, deep purple, pink and black shades. This palette will really give you an array of looks. For my look below, I used Sip Sip Hooray from brow to lid, Serving Looks in my crease, Eyes On The Pies on my lid, Cinn-Ful in the corners of my eyes and I lined my eyes with Scary Spiced. It's a brown monochromatic look with a hint of orange in it. On my lashes is Lancome's Waterproof Definicils with CILS Booster XL. My blush is Glossier Cloud Paint in Storm. On my lips is Too Faced's NEW Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick in PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte) (Selfridges, Nordstrom). I didn't pick up a scent with the eye shadow palette, but the liquid lipstick definitely has a YUMMY & DELICIOUS SCENT. It's also a truly beautiful color for Fall.
