Nutrafol Women's Hair Growth Vitamins Review

Not Sponsored: You can read about my hair journey story in this post. This will be part two, of my experience with Nutrafol.

I began my experience with Nutrafol, by purchasing a bottle of Nutrafol's Women's Balance Hair Growth Vitamins because I am 51 and it's for women 45+. I used the entire bottle (30 day supply). I saw hair around my edges grow and hair in sporadic places grow in. The hair wasn't long in length, but it was nice to see hair growth fill into those areas. I then decided to switch things up and purchase Nutrafol Women's Hair Growth Vitamins (ages 18-44). I purchased two bottles of that formula during the Sephora sale. The reason I changed to that formula, was I wanted more hair growth and length, rather than volume. This formula promises visibly thicker volume, visibly less shedding and hair that grows faster, stronger and longer. Nutrafol also states that women reported visibly thicker lashes and brows and reduced feelings of stress and supported sleep quality.

My results after one bottle (30 days)? I had about a 1/2 inch of new growth. Just as I mentioned with Nutrafol Women's Balance, Nutrafol Women's Hair Growth Vitamins WORK, but it takes time. It also takes money, because even purchasing them during Sephora's sale was expensive. So with slow results but high costs I'm sure a lot of people fall off the bandwagon awaiting results. I'm going to use the second bottle of Nutrafol Women's but I'm going to go back to using Neocell Biotin Bursts (reviewed here) and GNC Ultra NourishHair Vitamins (look for a review this week). Let me explain why. I had to laugh when I was on Twitter the other night, when I did a search about Nutrafol (just to see what others were saying) and several people mentioned how big the pills were (horse pills HaHaHa). I am so good at taking ANY kind of medicine, but these pills are so hard to swallow. That's a challenge in itself and I use an entire glass of water, trying to get the 4 pills required a day, down. The next issue I have is, I'm getting growth but not the softness that I got with the Neocell or GNC vitamins. The final issue is cost. The other two options are much cheaper and I'm getting better quality results. With anything, you will have to see how it works for you. If I see any other earth-shattering results, I'll update this review. I did get stronger and longer lashes, while taking these vitamins. Reduced feelings of stress and sleep quality? Not so much. HaHaHa

The difference with the Women's Balance (+45 age) and Women's (18-44) is that the Women's has MORE Vitamin E, Zinc, Biotin and Nutrafol Blend. I found the Women's formula to be better for GROWTH and LENGTH. Women's Balance was better for FILLING HAIR IN AND STRENGTH.

Nutrafol Women's Hair Grown Vitamins are Sweet (but don't expect huge results with one bottle; you must use it 3-6 months; try cheaper versions before investing)
