PR Sample: Get Excited! Get SUPER DUPER Excited! MERIT Beauty is coming out with NEW makeup goodies for us makeup enthusiasts! They told me this collection was TOP SECRET (Shhh! It launches 8.22.23), but I can't keep it to myself anymore. So, I'm giving you a heads up on this beautiful makeup collection. I first tried MERIT Beauty (on my own), this year. I fell in love with their Flush Balm Cheek Color in Terracotta and Signature Lip Lightweight Lipstick in Tiger. So I was honored, that their PR asked me to review their newest collection. MERIT Beauty has come out with SOLO SHADOWS and BRUSH NO. 2 to apply the shadows. Let me share my thoughts with you on each.
SOLO SHADOWS: Let me tell you! Some people hear the word eyeshadow and their brain turns completely OFF! I know, because I was one of those people. I was totally scared of eyeshadow. Everyone has witnessed eyeshadow catastrophes. No one, wants to be a victim. Well, you have NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT with MERIT Beauty's eyeshadows. They are fool proof! You really can't mess up. Not only with their eyeshadows, but with ALL OF THEIR MAKEUP. It's mistake proof. WHY? They're natural looking. They blend in with your skin. If you love natural, true to you, and earth tone colors ... you will love MERIT Beauty. These eyeshadows are a cream to powder formula, that will give you a soft matte wash of color. I asked them to send me Vachetta which is a Warm Beige. No fuss. No problem. Watch my Instagram Reel! It's buildable. Apply a little. Need more? Apply some more. My mom said, Kim, what are you wearing? It looks really good. I told her and guess what you guys!?! I'm going to wear this look to work. I love it. PLUS, the eyeshadow STAYS PUT! No more powdery all over the place shadow. I love this and plan on getting more (see below for the colors they offer it in).
BRUSH NO. 2: If you get the SOLO SHADOWS, get BRUSH NO. 2. I'm really NOT trying to get you to buy extra stuff. I have a gazillion eyeshadow brushes ... they will not work with this shadow. The shadow is a special formula and this brush compliments it perfectly. It's just the right size. It fits perfectly in your hand. It makes application EASY! I love the dual ends. The bristles are super soft. You can dip, swirl and apply with no problem. The smaller end is great for your lower lash. I need to get a couple of more, when I purchase some of the other shades. It's a great brush. The bristles are VEGAN. The brush is great for SENSITIVE SKIN.
CLEAN LASH MASCARA IN PERFECT BLACK: I've never tried MERIT Beauty's mascara before. Well they sent me a tube with this collection. Wait until you see my face on my Instagram Reel. This mascara REALLY lengthens! You can see the difference between my two eyes. I was like WOW! It defines each lash perfectly and works really well on the lower lashes. If they made this mascara waterproof, it would be perfect. It's really good.
