Disclosure: I was sent Lancome's 2023 Advent Calendar for review in October. There were some products in the calendar, that I've never tried. I've been reviewing these products since October. All opinions in this blog post are 100% my own and honest. This post contains affiliate links. I get commission for purchases made through the links in this post.
PR Sample: Lacome's 2023 Advent Calendar included several toners. One was Lancome's Tonique Confort Hydrating Toner w/ Hyaluronic Acid (Bergdorf Goodman, Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Selfridges). I had much better results with this toner, than I did with the Tonique Douceur (but that is because I have dry skin). So you guys, with that said, this toner is for hydrating and purifying. It's alcohol free, It hydrates. It removes impurities.
Lancome states it is, "An alcohol-free facial toner with Hyaluronic Acid that improves skin hydration in just 30 minutes. A soothing toner that delivers hydration to skin for a visible glow. The silky, serum texture gently removes impurities and preps skin for skincare or makeup application. Formulated with Hyaluronic Acid, Acacia Honey & Sweet Almond Oil, this toner deeply hydrates to leave skin looking healthy with a natural glow. The formula gently removes impurities, dirt, excess oils and leftover makeup residue without stripping the skin of moisture. Skin is left cleansed and perfectly prepped for makeup or skincare application. Tonique Confort’s silky, milk-like texture is easily spread and quickly absorbed. The formula glides on skin as it provides nourishing moisture and removes impurities. This toner is suitable for all skin types, even sensitive skin and will not leave the skin feeling sticky or greasy. A toner is a fast-absorbing liquid that removes impurities and dirt from the skin after cleansing. Many toners hydrate and replenish the skin after cleansing. It acts a primer for the rest of your skincare products to allow other formulas to absorb into the skin. Toners also can prime skin for makeup application, creating a clean, moisturized skin base."
Formulated without alcohol, sulfates, or parabens.
Hyaluronic Acid – Known for its potent ability to enhance skin’s water retention and improve skin elasticity
Acacia Honey – Known for its moisturizing, soothing and antioxidant properties
Sweet Almond Oil – Known for its strong emollient and moisturizing properties
So everything Lancome states above is true (I experienced all of it while trying this product). When you apply this toner to your skin, it feels more like a soothing gel than a splash of liquid. It's very soothing, healing and comforting to the skin. It's not sticky or heavy. It absorbed nicely. It made my skin feel really good. My skin really loved this formula. Now, there's one thing. One little quirk. This toner plumps, but not to the degree my Fresh Beauty Kombucha Essence (Harrods, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Sephora) does. If I didn't know about Fresh, then this would be my number one toner. But it's really good. I noticed during one of ULTA's skincare sales, this SOLD OUT. I can see why. So glad I had a chance to try it. It's definitely worth buying and great for all skin types.
