A Very Sweet Blog Turns 12

Not Sponsored: As the stroke of midnight approached New Year's Eve night, I said Wow! A Very Sweet Blog is turning 12 years old. I've been blogging a little over a decade now. That's dedication. Although not nearly at full-force as I use to blog or along the same quality ... I'm still here. Hey, as long as you move right!?! As you get older, you move a little slower (but you're still moving). That's me. I still love reviewing products. I still enjoy writing. With a new position, it doesn't leave much time. I just manage to do my best. That's all one can do.

I was looking over last year's goals, and haphazardly fulfilled some of them. I did #1, #3 and part of #5 (I decided to keep Celebrate and Holidays). That counts for something, right? So this year, I will complete #2 and #4.

What are some other things I want to do for my blog?

New Picture Please

I need a new picture for my blog, Twitter (I mean X ... grumble grumble) and Instagram. Although cute (and I still get compliments on that picture) ... that picture is from 2018 (five years ago). We are now in 2024. Time to update!   

X and Instagram Widget

I've noticed my X and Instagram widget have gone kaput on my blog! So I will have to find new ones.

Threads & More

I joined Threads and love it. But I slacked off towards the end of last year. So I want to do a better job posting not only there, but all of my social media. I must practice consistency. I'm consistently falling off the bandwagon. 

Research Other Blogs

I really want to take time out and see what others are doing on their blogs. See how they have things set up. How they are running things. And update my blog based on some current blogs. 

So nothing too heavy duty for 2024, but I feel it will make a difference.
